I'm in the market for a USB flash drive. I'm going to plug it into my car stereo so I don't need an amazing one that can boot windows flawlessly. It's going to be just for mp3's. This is what I'm looking for

-At least 4gb
-Sturdy, not easily broken design
-Quick read speeds
-I would like to keep it about $40 for 4gb

Any suggestions?

try staples, check your area they always have good deals on usb drives.

in my area, which is where the link leads a 4 gb flash is 35 bucks. Not bad.

Also if you dont mind waiting, I just checked newegg.com, sort their usb 4 GB flash drives by lowest price and they have quite a few under 40 bucks.

Id link you, their site is not very good with links.

Can't comment on speeds, but its fast enough for me..

Pick up a USB card reader and then just buy flash cards that you can easily swap in and out of the reader.

I actually have one for CF cards although it's flimsy and fairly slow (on pc at least). I'm not sure if this would work with the deck although in theory it should. I don't have the deck yet so I can't test it. It's this one, if anyone can confirm. The only thing about that, is with all the music I want on it, it's about 3gb, so I really have no need for extra cards since I can just delete songs when I get bored of them. That free 1gb of space wont get filled up for quite a while also.

I'll probably go by staples this weekend and check out what they have.
