I think MOH was a $5 @gamer coupon too not that long ago.
"Silent Hill Book of Memoirs" should be "Silent Hill: Book of Memories"
LOL it wasn't memorable as a silent hill game so easy to forget

50 Cent Blood on the Sand was clearance for 7.99 a bit ago at BestBuy. It's not a horrible game. I don't know if it's 15 dollars good but for 8 dollars it's worth it.

It used to be 50 or 60 dollars Game on Demand witch was always fun to notice for the wow factor, but it looks like it has been removed all together.

I'm surprised to see some of those games still selling for $30 brand new.

I am debating Saw II. I remember playing the first one as a gift, and it wasn't too bad. While I don't expect a masterpiece, wondering how it compares to the first.

Thanks OP. Want the ZoE Collection and Smart As..., but I'm gonna wait for ZoE to get a little cheaper, and no Smart As... within 100 miles of me.

Madworld (Wii) is only $3.00. I've heard that is decent.

There are some other really really cheap titles.

Motorstorm is about 1.75. Prince of Persia is 2.99 (reboot for 360/PS3). Of course the old Maddens are cheap too. For a couple bucks it is fun to have a football game around.

Saw 2 was one of the most absolutely miserable games ever made. I'm proud of that platinum, not because the game was challenging, but because I somehow managed to persevere through the ocean of suck that lay before me

Am I the only one who has the stock locator for Wonderbook used not showing up? I need another $20 used game for a B2G1 coupon I have from renewing PUR, and I really hate calling the stores.

Same here. I don't remember if its the first game or second but I got a platinum in one of them by putting the controller down for five minutes.
50 Cent: Blood in the Sand? I've heard some good things about it actually. Don't know if I wanna spend $15 on it though.
I played through it recently after getting it for ~$8. On the hardest difficulty it took me maybe 8 hours or so to get through it; it's not an amazing game but it's not bad by any means, strictly a bit above average. The soundtrack, if you're into the the music, is nice to have playing in the background and there is some decent humor throughout as well.

If you're going to play it now, I say go ahead for $15. But if it's going into your backlog then you *could* hold out for sub-$10 on ebay or something but it doesn't get that way too often since the game isn't terribly common to come across.

I got it for $10. It plays like a second-rate Gears, but if you have a co-op buddy it's a good time. The best parts are the ridiculous "plot" and the unlockable swears you can use to taunt enemies.

I'm pretty sure you are the only person in America who is searching for Wonderbook. :)

For those looking to get Zone of the Enders, the order of best version is:

(best) PS2 Originals >> 360 > PS3 (worst)

The original games took heavy advantage of the PS2's unique architecture, especially its fill rate. Neither the 360 nor the PS3 perform rendering in quite the same way as the PS2 did, though the 360's eDRAM allows it more closely approximate the manner in which ZOE pushed the PS2's hardware. I don't know if the HD porting studio was lazy, or if the game really was just too strongly welded to aspects of the PS2's architecture that aren't completely replicated in current gen consoles, but the end result is that the HD versions run at a lower frame rate relative to the PS2 versions much of the time.

The game engine was designed to sync with the frame rate in such a way that lower frame rate results not in torn frames or choppy motion, but in the entire game engine slowing down. So it feels like playing the game in slow motion relative to the PS2 version--in a game that has "High Speed Robot Action" for a tagline.

It's not all bad, because the HD version contains the Special Edition of ZOE 2 that never released in the US. The Special Edition contains a few tweaks and changes (such as improved, more aggressive AI and the occasional slightly altered scene or level), but no major plot changes or additions.

It's "pick your poison" either way. The HD version is the only way to play the Special Edition of ZOE 2 in the US, but the only way to play the game's fast paced action the way it was meant to be played is on the PS2. I don't really think the minor changes in the Special Edition make up for the slow down, so I tracked down PS2 copies.

I got it during XMAS as a bundle, and the kid loves it since she's a huge Harry Potter fan. However its not really enjoyable as a spectectator and I really have no intentions of ever playing it.

I did a Store Pickup order for Sports Champions today. The guy scanned it and saw it came up as $1.80, and said, "Wait... That's can't be right." He scanned it again, the same price came up, and he let me buy the game.

Even Gamestop employees are shocked to see corporate not ripping people off.

well that was nice of him to let you buy it
Is Saw II as bad as the first one or did they improve it the second time around?
It is far far far far far far far (i could keep going for the next few hours) worse than the first. The first was considered a bad game but I enjoyed it for what it was worth. The second is miserable. I'm not over exaggerating whatsoever
