Used DS Lite question

I'm thinking about getting a used DS Lite. I was wondering if I am able to purchase a warranty through Nintendo just in case there are any defects.

No, Nintendo only offers warranties with new systems. EB/GS offer that 1 year warranty w/ systems, but it doesn't cover dead pixels.

the EB/GS offer covers stuff that is your fault, so worst case is you just smash the ds lite if it has a dead pixel
