Alright, so I just talked to a friend of mine. He came from EB Games where he picked up a used copy of Ghost Recon. His first time buying used, he was a little worried, so he asked what he could do if it didn't work. The employee told him that he had to pay $2 now for insurance in order to return or exchange it later. Conveniently enough, the game freezes on one of the levels. :?
I've never been offered insurance before, nor have I heard of it till now. The return policy simply says it needs to be in the original packaging and condition as it was bought in order to exchange it. Just curious, has anyone ever heard of this before? Or did my buddy get jipped out of a whopping $2? Thanks!
