Thanks for the post and welcome to CAG, but it's not really a deal. It's been this price for a while now. EBGames has several games of this price (Onimusha, GT3, GTA3, etc.). They all are under $4-5, and are great games, but it's just a matter of how long they've been out. I tried trading in GT3 the other day and was offered .08 for the stupid game.

If I renember correctly, the GT3 game I mentioned was $4.99 six months ago and $2.99 last month. Anyway It's a 33% price drop .

I'll add there's no point to owning 3 if you own 4 or plan to buy 4. I'd say there might be less cars in 4 than 3 but 4 adds so much to the game that there's no reason I'd own 3 over 4. Especially if you have an HDTV, come on, 1080i and dolby digital? It's hard to be impressed with the Burnout set ups at Best Buy once you've played Gran Turismo 4 in its HD mode

However, it is a cheap game, if you're new to the series or have never played a driving sim before, this is a great place to start, just hope you get the original and not the greatest hits version

And it's not trade in fodder, 8 cents plus $2.50, you only gain 58 cents on it.

I gave up on this game forever after I consistently lost races at the beginning of the game by thousandths of a second.

I don't, but that's because I sold it for $8 right before 4 went greatest hits

Mind you, I don't think it's out new anymore..I saw it new at Wal-Mart for $5 when 4 came out for $20
