Used Xbox Music Mixer $6 shipped free AC at ebgames.com

It's better to get this online, cause the EB store near me has a few of these for the same price, but it's just the disc and missing the mic. Don't know about other stores, but that's something I've ran into.
does this come with the mic? or only the game?
"Guaranteed to work. Includes instructions and original packaging."
I'm guessing yes, but you never know.
You just need the game disc to transfer music correct (And a crossover cable)?
Sort of, and these..

My local Sears B&M store had this new for $7.50 about a month ago. Since it retails for $19.99 at most places, you could just wait for the inevitable "buy 2 get 1 free" deal later this year to get it cheaper than $15 new.

Well the buy 2 get 1 is still going on at ebgames.com. I ordered this and a couple of other $7.99 games that I have been wanting for a total of $16.50 shipped after edge card.

Personally I didn't get much use out of the one I picked up on Sears clearance for $7.50. (But then I didn't really have any desire to dump a lot of MP3s on my Xbox anyway.) The actual 'Karoake' part using the mic seemed pretty craptastic to me.

Ended up eBaying it off a few weeks ago.

the mic is over-rated.. the disc is really all you want anyway.. the thing that sucks is.. you can only transfer 100 songs at a time.. then you have to convert them to the xbox playing format if you want to have a custom soundtrack (it literally took 5 hours to convert about 250 songs that i wanted as the "be all end all" of my soundtracks..) worth it.. yes.. but only if you have the time..

This man above is right. You transfer it from PC to Music Mixer, then MM to XBox.. which sucks, but its worth it I guess. A batch of 100 songs usually takes an hour and a half to fully convert.

Seriously though, I have guests staying with us this weekend. I just used the music mixer to easily upload the pictures they took today to the Xbox.
We had an (almost) instant slide show. It worked suprisingly well.

Bring on da hot fishees!!!

on a side note, it takes WAY too long to get music onto your xbox....

The slideshow portion works wonderfully though

Look, I have to warn you guys. These things have a pretty high "does not work with my setup for some unknown reason" rate.

I'm in the PC business and I bought this for full price some time back. I did not care about the Karaoke, I just wanted to transfer music to my Box over wireless ethernet. It worked fine the first 3-4 times I used it. Then one day I tried to send some stuff to the Xbox and it would not see the computer. It never worked again. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Xbox, PC, or anything in between. It just stopped working for some unknown reason. I even hooked it directly up to the PC via crossover, turned off all firewalls, etc. etc. etc.

I tried off and on for another YEAR to get this thing to work and it never did. I finally GAVE IT AWAY to some clerk at Gamerush when they wouldn't take it on trade-in.

But don't take my word for it. Go check out the official board for this program/game over at Xbox.com. See the 1000s of posts from similarly pissed off owners.

I'm not saying not to get it, but I want everyone to be aware that whether the PC-Xbox transfer works for you is TOTALLY YMMV. That is all.

I've also seen this in the Target clearance pile for $13.50. Thought about picking it up for the music transfer, but most of the games I play don't use custom soundtracks anyway.
