Amazonn's Video Game Deal of the Day for March 10, 2011 is Valkyria Chronicles 2 at $29.99. For the 2 people who don't know already, this is for the PSP.

I'm actually not quite sure what the price point is at other retailers, so feel free to chime in if it's on sale elsewhere.
I wish they'd discount it a little further. This is only $2 less than the regular price.
Exactly, I am playing through VC on my PS3 right now and am loving it! I really want to check this out also but I'll wait for a better price.
Seems like the sale price should be at least $19.99 given how long it's been out.
Back in December it was down to I think $15 maybe $20 (don't remember) on PSN. So I bought it then. I haven't tried it but if it's anything like the first one it's an awesome game.

I'ts a great game. I actually stopped playing it when I got a PS3 so I could play the first game. They made a lot of improvements that polish the game in the PSP sequel.

it was $15.99, iirc. i picked it up then too... of course i haven't actually gotten to play it yet because of persona 3 and monster hunter...

I'm in the same boat as a lot of people apparently... I want the game but 29.99 isn't a deal on it, especially not since it's a PSP game. Oh well, good thing about having a PSP now is there's still TONS of good games which will drop in price pretty quickly soon.

I'm holding out for that price range on a physical copy. I'm amazed it hasn't really dropped at all yet in all this time.
Kmart had this for $20 the week it released. I've played 130 hours and I still haven't finished it.
Yeah, exactly! I got lucky and picked it up then for that price. I have not seen it that low since. It's a great game though! I feel as if it's a bit dumbed-down in some aspects from the first game, but in other aspects much improved. Anyways, either way it's a great RPG on the go.

Wow. I think I only put in close to 40 (only a little bit of grinding) and I finished it. A sub-par game compared to its older brother on the PS3, but it's still a good game.

i bought the downloadable version of this earlier this week. game play is solid...i really don't like all the cut scenes though.

Yeah I'm sure this will be lower soon. I REALLY wish they'd go back to making these on PS3. The 1st game is such a quality product even though the strategy mechanics could be improved (Charging head long into bullets shouldn't be rewarded just because it's fast :) )

They also need to put there talents into Skies of Arcadia 2!!!!!

Does the PSP version have a story/characters you'd care about like the 1st one or is it just a good strategy game?
It still breaks my heart that this isn't on the ps3. I just can't get into portable gaming.
You can hook up later PSPs to your TV. I just started doing that recently and I don't know why I haven't been doing it for years.

As for VC2. I was a little disappointed with it. They went with quantity over quality. Every mission in VC1 was different and epic in its own way, in VC2 you do the same smaller missions over and over. They had a few decent main missions, but it paled in comparison to VC1. Still worth playing though.
