Can a person with an artificial heart become a vampire or rather be turned into a vampire? And on the flip side of that if a person had an allergy to dogs would becoming a werewolf be fatal to them?

Nope, the vamp virus would essentially kill them.

Hell no, it takes a special genetic makeup to withstand the werewolf virus.

A vampire with an artificial heart can only be killed by sunlight or beheading. Stakes have no effect. You'd think they'd all get the surgery. :whistle2:k

One thing I've always wondered is if a vampire bites someone with AIDS, can the vampire get infected with it? If the vampire can get infected, will it eventually kill them?

If not, I believe that vampires are the cure to AIDS.

Something that exists solely in the imagination is only subject to rules defined there. If you're writing the book then vampires are defined any damned way you please. Is somebody going to run a clinical study to prove you wrong?

Personally, I've always liked the idea of a solar powered flashlight being like a laser rifle against vampires. Also toothpicks with an iron core propelled by a man-portable magnetic rail gun.

If you can't catch the plague or old age when you have vampirism, I'm pretty sure AIDS doesn't have a chance. Although if they drink the blood of someone who is dead drunk I'm pretty sure they get a little lightheaded.

I guarantee this will be in the next spoof movie those Date Movie/Epic Movie/Meet the Spartans asshats make, since they'll do something with Twilight.

I think this question would heavily depend on whether or not you believe that vampires and werewolves have regenerative capabilities.

Because if a vampire bites a person with an artificial heart, the virus will still be spread throughout their system/body by the artificial heart. That's what the arificial heart is for, to act like a normal heart and to pump blood through the body. And if vampires have regenerative capabilities, then the person would just eventually grow a new heart, and have to remove the artificial heart because it would be of no use anymore.

I believe it would be much the same with the werewolf. The werewolf virus (or whatever you want to consider it) would more likely than not trump that person's immune system's typical allergic response and therefore they would not have the allergy anymore.

Then again, if someone has a severe enough allergy to dogs, I believe that it could be argued that the person could die before the virus could take effect. But I haven't really heard of any cases involving a dog allery where a person dies if they get near a dog.

There was an episode of Angel that took this approach but it turned out the vampire could only survive for a limited time without is heart. He was nearly unbeatable while it lasted, though.

Actually you would think vampires would wear body armor or get metal grafted inside their body around their heart.

What if a zombie bit a vampire just as that vampire was biting the zombie...? Would they both come back to life cured, or would you just have a zombie that licked all the bloody mess off the floor?

Zombies don't pump blood, at best it would be a minor annoyance to them as they rip the vampire to shreds. Now if a vampire just got bit by a zombie would they turn into a zombie themselves? Probably not since they were already dead and presumably immune to disease and infection.

nah a zombie wouldnt effect a vampire but they could probably infect a werewolf. a zombie werewolf would be weird question is once bit would they remain in werewolf form when they become a zombie or would they die, turn human and then become a zombie?

speaking of zombies this jus reminds me of that disturbing marvel zombies comic but more to the topic how could wolverine become a zombie when hes got that healing factor?

His healing factor stopped working when he became infected, which didn't make a whole lot of sense. Phoenix and Hulk were two other question mark cases, Hulk could regenerate from almost a skeleton and Phoenix should have had no problem stopping the virus with her mind.

It was stupid, they had to think of a way to make Wolverine a zombie cause everyone would think it was cool. Never mind that he's immune to everything else.
I blame this thread on that "Twilight" book.:whistle2:#
Wouldn't it be better to blame this thread on the Twilight movie, which you can then blame on the book? ;)

Love that show. Although I can't remember this one specifically. No big surrpise there as I haven't watched any of them in years.

Yeah that's a good point. Why not wear some sort of neck armor?
Who would win, a shark or a vampire?
Well, Vampires wouldn't be so stupid as to be in a position where they could be attacked by Shark, and if they happened to be in that situation they would always win.
Who would win, a shark or a vampire?
I've never seen a vampire go for a swim so I would assume the shark.
How deep would a vampire shark have to swim during the day to avoid being crispified?
it really depends on water quality/visibility
How deep would a vampire shark have to swim during the day to avoid being crispified?
Just under the surface of the water, I assume. No oxygen = no fire.
a shark would lose against a zombie though ive seen it in a movie once very cool scene.
Since a zombie is dead, wouldn't it just float on the water? I'd put money on the shark, but the question remains....would it become the dreaded Zombie Shark?

no they can walk underwater same as a person. a zombie shark would kick ass but most zombie lore states animals can become reanimated its be cool to see a zombie lion or zombie gorilla though ......at a safe distance though not up close.

Hmm, now that is interesting. But maybe the vampire shark would just kind of internally combust and turn to a lump of ash with no real flame. :whistle2:k
no they can walk underwater same as a person.
I don't know if it's 'same as a person' but zombies can definitely walk on the ground underwater. They sink to the very bottom and just walk along like it was a field somewhere. I cite Creep Show as my source on this.

thats a good source to use might i also suggest land of the dead ( horrible film) and Zombie as other sources for underwater zombies.

a werwolf could probably do well in a water battle since they could doggie paddle.

Now if we could only get a vampire to bite it, this beast would be unstoppable....

They can't get AIDS, since they're dead. They don't have a immune system. Thus, is why they never get sick.
