The coupon is in the free Elizabethtown trailer that are in-store at best Buy. Coupon is good for 10 movies, but Vanilla Sky is the cheapest and the only one I was interested in. Vanilla Sky may also be marked 6.99, but rings up as 5.99 - not sure for how long

Is it worth $1?

Pretty sure one of the other movies from the coupon was actually $6.99 (so $1.99 after), don't know which.

If you're a Jason Lee fan, yes.
It's worth a dollar for most of the movie, but prepare to be fucking pissed off at the ending. Made me wanna fucking throw it at the wall, it was that bad.
I couldn't agree more. I do intend to give it another shot (I picked it up with the coupon a couple of weeks ago), but I hated the ending. I enjoyed the movie up until that. It is like the movie makes you think, and the ending puts a stop to that. I don't want my movies to come with an answer key.

Good question. Might be worth looking into if its a dollar. Also, what's the other movie that comes up for $1.99. Anyone know?

Love Story, I believe.

Better hit that BB tomorrow, folks.

Thanks, I will. I was kinda thinking of going on my free hour anyway, this seals the deal.

You are correct. I've never seen the film, so I'll pick it up for $1.99 if I find it. I looked for it back when the deal started, but didn't see it (I only checked one BB).

Trivia (courtesy of imdb): Incoming freshman at Harvard University, where the movie takes place, are traditionally shown a screening of the film at which they indulge in ritualized mass heckling.

I myself prefer the original spanish version called Open Your Eyes to this remake of it. But for this price I'll still buy it.

I hated this movie and think they should pay you to watch. I still harbor a grudge against Tom Cruise for wasting two hours of my life. I am one of the most lenient movie reviewers you we ever meet but this was terrible. Why? There was no direction in the movie. It kind went all over the place leaving loose ends here and there, which I suppose you weere supposed to forgive because of the ending. If it was a character study, I could cut it some slack, but it just dragged on and on and was a huge letdown at the end. Save your 99 cents and gas money.

uh.. so the coupon is in a magazine? HOw much does it take off regular movies?

Coupon was in the free Elizabethtown CD trailer. It took off $5 for a select list of 10 DVDs. It's irrelevant now, as the coupon expired on 10/31
