Mine hides clearance electronics in the far corner of the electronics section, took me forever to figure out where they hide the stuff. You may want to search around if your Target doesn't appear to have one.
I got this game a while back, very fast paced and action packed. Only downside is that the replay value is very limited, but well worth $20, if you can find for that price

I don't do all that. I, just, ask them where the Electronics Clearance section is. I saw this game(Vanquish) for $14.98, too, when I went to get PS3 SSFIV($14.98).
My Target never has anything on clearance anymore. A few weeks ago, I spotted Bayonetta for $41.98. That's right, two times more than MSRP. When XBL Games on Demand is beating your price, you are ing behind.
Damn, I want this for $15. I wonder if I should make a trip to Target just for this?
Call, first, and give them the DPCI. If they don't have it, have them search the other stores in your area. They can tell you which stores have it and, sometimes, the price.
I have learned that some Targets are cheaper than others, even if they are not far apart. This game's price is averaging between $15-$20.
Saw it this past week, but unlike the rest of you, I'm obviously a CheapER Ass Gamer. I decided to wait for the 75% drop ($7.50). Somehow, threads like this make me think there won't be any left now. Curse you, Less-than-cheapskates!
the target clearance price is no longer $14.99? can someone confirm this?
Just picked up a copy for $14.99 today at Target in the District in Tustin, CA. There were about 4-5 more copies. Also picked up Sly Collection for $14.99 (last copy).
If you can find a copy at Target, the price should be $14.99.
Thanks, I found the ps3 version at two Targets today (didn't see them on Monday when the prices dropped). The target online store locator was surprisingly accurate this time around (usually when I see 'limited availability' I go to the store and can never find any copies)

My TRU still has NBA 2k9 and Lair that are supposedly on clearance for $50 each

exactly the crap i find at mine. the employees must get the deals for their friends, as they act like they have no idea what i'm talking about when i mention clearance. the games section is so small at my local store, they really just might not mess with the clearance stuff. no telling.
i've driven waaay out there too many times to find squat, so i don't even bother. i wish there was one closer to me (it's about 15 miles 1 way).
The Target I went to had it for $20 =\ and I just noticed the copy I got has a huge dent on the case for some reason. I might just go to another Target tomorrow and swap it out and hopefully get it cheaper.
Edit: Any differences between the PS3 and 360 version one should know about? From what I remember, PS3 was the lead platform so that's the one I picked up. My store only had 1 copy for each system.

Digital foundry:
"In the final analysis, it's fair to say that these two titles are very, very close. Both are outstanding releases and are well worth buying regardless of which console you might happen to own.[...]
Platinum Games says that it developed on PS3 first and foremost, but it's testament to the developer's skill that v-sync is the only real differentiating factor between the lead platform and the 360 conversion, and there's still a sense that controller response may well be the tiniest bit crisper on the Microsoft console. If you own both machines and are wondering which to buy, it's a tough one to call overall but in my view, the v-sync implementation has to give the PS3 version the edge."

Thanks for the reply. Guess it wouldn't be a big deal to swap it out for the 360 version if I cant find another copy on PS3.
I was hoping to pay $15 for it as well but I nabbed it anyway at $20 in fear that I won't be able to find this game at all in stores soon. I'll try the other Target again tomorrow and if I can't find it for $15 there I'll settle for $20.
The only things I hated about this game are that it suffered from problems that plagued bayonetta. Bad story telling, lame characters ( only exception in bayonetta was well .... bayonetta lol ) and most of all, one of my most hated game pet peaves ....... BOSS RECYCLING ! My goodness I hate it when games do this. Then there some chapters where your cool ass jet pack is made Useless and it turns into a standerd cover third person shooter. Oh and melee attacks shouldn't overheat your suit ! These things aside, I had a blast with vanquish
my Target has them for 22.99... 15 is about the price I'll pay for it since its short with no multiplayer
The Targets here (well, the two I've checked) have it on clearance for $14.98. I would've bought it, but I already got it at TRU for $16 a month ago.

I liked the characters and story for what they were: a bald-faced satire of the the space marine genre that's exploded over the years(ex. Sam saying that this mission's turning into a bad video game :lol. I got a lot of laughs throughout the whole thing.
I agree that boss recycling is very lame. They were all great the first time but it was disappointing that they couldn't have pushed their creativity further...
especially at the very end.
I appreciated that they added new Quicktime events for each encounter though.
While I agree it would've been especially bad-ass to have infinite melee attacks (or at least more than one at a time), I can understand why they did it. It would've made the game extremely easy, and changed the game from a shooter to a fighting game, when they wanted to make a shooter. (the director made an action fighting game already: Godhand on PS2). What they did put in certainly outshined melee we've seen in Gears of War etc.
Still, I would've loved an unlockable pure melee mode after finishing the game.
Simply wearing the cloak of the genre and using it poorly isn't 'satire.' Vanquish wasn't clever at all in that regard.
Vanquish's melee was a tricky proposition. I don't think there were any good answers to it. (To be honest, a lot of the game feels that way. Trying a combination of contradictory styles that pretty much ensured they could never find good answers to make it all work.) But to say Vanquish's dopey melee outshined the satisfying chainsaw from Gears is just silly, bro.

Thanks for always taking the time to find a Vanquish thread to let us all know how much it disappointed you.
It's an intriguing prospect. What can I say? Twas so close to good but fell so short. How's that not interesting to talk about, especially when it comes to prospective buyers weighing the value of the purchase?
Of course, if you HAVE to make it about me, feel free. You would not even be close to the first.
