Yeah I couldnt get sound in Firefox so I had to switch over to IE and in both I couldnt get the full screen button to work.

did anyone else think hank and dean were clones? they eluded to it a couple of times in season 1, so i was kinda thinking that theyd be back this season.

Thanks for posting the link. Love that show. King Gorilla was hilarious.

I wish they hadn't done that entire clone element of the story. For me, it ruins the boys as characters. Whenever I watch them now, I'll be thinking that they're just clones who can be killed at any time. All just so they could shock us with the ending of season 1. I would even have preferred Morpheus finding their souls and reviving them over the whole clone thing.
 
i've been watching the Venture Bros DVDs the last few days in preparation for the season premier.

i have horrible memory, which is good sometimes cause i get to watch my favorite tv shows/movies over and over again. but having horrible memory is mostly bad.

i think i'll wait till sun, but thanks OP.

This episode was mostly the setup for this season, and it's got me pretty excited.

I didn't expect that the boys had been killed 13 times already, but it's been hinted at that they were atleast genetically engineered in the episode with testicular torsion. Nice to see the learning boxes meant something I guess, and I found the death scenes humorous, especially the gas leak one.
 
They put the whole premiere online? That's...interesting.

Edit: I can't find anything. Those who watched it, did you obtain it...legally?

VB is big enough to have its own thread. If we can have specific threads for Lost and 24, then so be it for VB.

Besides, who thought it was a good idea to have 1 thread for an entire network of shows? With that line of reasoning, we should just have 1 thread per board, with titles like "Xbox 360 game thread".

Is there a dedicated Fox show thread? Why would there be when they have all kinds of different shows for people to watch, though Adult Swim has the generally same type of shows, comedy shows, so discussion of those shows has always been there. It's sort of like the Fighting Game Thread, all the included topics have a similar theme, so there's no need to split them apart any further.

Someone creates a thread like that so that people interested in Adult Swim shows like Venture Brothers can have a place to discuss the new episodes and other Adult Swim topics neatly. ;)

It wasn't as funny as i expected it to be, still pretty funny but it wasn't as laugh out loud funny as last season. Then again it was mostly setup for the rest of the season, lots of things going on at once, too many maybe.

Throwing in people like the henchmen could've waited a bit and Jonus Jr seems like a really tacked on character to me but what the hell, it's the Venture Bros, pretty damn funny no matter what they do almost. I still look forward to this season though, should be hilarious.
 
Oh damn, thanks for reminding me. I almost never watch television anymore, but The Venture Bros. is one of the very few shows that I will watch. The season premiere comes on tonight, right? I'm on the West coast, so I don't think that it's been on yet.

i thought it was pretty funny. it realy was just setting up the rest of the season. the henchmen thing might be pretty funny, seinfeld with a unibrow, ha!

i hope jonus makes some more apperances, and im wondering if the monarch will be teaming up with the ventures in anyway, i mean he is kinda going after the guild (or phantom limb at least).

man this show is great, i sound like dork.
 
My favorite part is when the guards are comparing what the Monarch shot at them. One gets hit with the powder they use to clean up vomit and another gets hit by that little man! LOL.
 
the show has really stepped it up from last season (which was also amazing).

VB is easily the best show on television at the moment!

Entourage is def good, but Venture Bros is off to a GREAT start.
 
VB is definitely the saving grace of Adult Swim right now.

though I've warmed up to Tom Goes to the Mayor a lot. (used to despise it) the bassfest episode was pretty funny.

Great episode last night.

Funny scene when Hank was receiving mouth-to-mouth from Molotov Cocktease, and when Dean yelled "The Apaches are back!"

Is it just me, or do the voices of Hank and Dean sound different this season?

My favorite episode of the season. I've watched it 3 times already.

My only minor qualm is

I don't like where they're going with Brock and Phantom Limb, especially after episode two. I don't want to see Brock go over to the dark side. I'm hoping they don't go down that route.

But yeah, everything else was fantastically written.
