As for Season 3, it hasn't been released yet. When it comes out on 10/23, you can get a $10 mail-in rebate from FYE, who sells it for $42.99 (making it $32.99). You can pre-order it now and get free shipping or buy it in-store when it's released, though there's a chance the rebate form will not print out with the receipt. In that case, you will have to print out the form online.

i would wait to get seasons 1+2 when season 3 comes out. one of the b&ms (target/cc/best buy) will undoubtedly have seasons 1+2 on sale the same week (probably for $19.99 if past sales are any indication)

I've seen both seasons at three different Wal-Mart stores for $21.96 each. It may be YMMV, but after seeing them at that price at three different stores it leads me to believe it's universal.

Target use to put these on sale for $19.99 all the time, but they have seemed to vanish from all three Target stores in my area sometime this past spring.
Curious? Is this show cancelled since she is now on the show Heroes?
Yeah, the show was officially cancelled before she signed up to be on Heroes. The creator has said that he wants to make a follow-up movie to tie up the loose ends, though.

Never will happen.

The Gilmore Girls creators want to do the same thing, even through they ditched their own show.

Yeah, probably not, but there's always some hope (I'm sure Firefly fans would say that, anyway).

And it's not entirely fair to say that about the Palladinos. Sure they left the show, but I see their reasonong with having to deal with the network in the way they did.

Too bad, they wrecked Gilmore Girls, and then ditched it instead of fixxing it. It was a wonderfully smart and fun show that was different and had charm and they wrecked it so badly so fast.
