ouch, i received all my dvd's last night and all of them were scratched to hell and were missing the inserts. oh well, as long as the dvd's work i guess i can't complain for the price. :lol:
 
What the hell. I'd swear that I placed an order, but on the "My Orders" page it says that I have no orders on file. I guess I'll go ahead and place another order, at the lower prices, with the (possibly?) free shipping. :)

Did u trade it in? According to the website, it only gets $3.75, since its the older version and not the newer mile high version.

Shaolin soccer gets $5 though.
 
Well I got mine today. Saved, Shaolin Soccer, amd Veronica Guerin have MANY scratches on them but they are all light so hopefully they work fine. Stepford Wives and Envy were both in good condition and Fahrenhype 9/11 was brand new. They all did come with the original cases but only Veronica Guerin came with an insert. Shaolin Soccer had an advertisement for a comic in it but that was it. Are the others suppose to have inserts or not? I know a lot of DVDs nowdays dont even come with one.
 
For those interested... I ordered Shaolin and Saved.. think it came to $4 total... maybe $4.50

Both are in outSTANDING condition. Shaolin was opened but the DVD had never been removed from the case.
 
fuck whoever bought the rest of the Shaolin Soccer DVDs. I hope you get scammed when you resell them on ebay.
 
Got my 6 movies on Saturday. All had scratches on them (4 of them alot more than the other 2), but they seem to be from cleaning them. Only Shaolin Soccer had the sticker on the case. Hopefully they all work. I only tested out 2 of them.
 
He responded to my question...I asked why he didnt just say he bought them at overstock.com - OOohhh because then everyone else would buy them for $1.

his response = "[FONT=Arial, Verdana]because i didnt i actually bought them as indicated via movie gallery or blockbuster.com.You mean to tell me that they sell them via overstock.com for that less,if i knew that i would have bought them via that site and saved me a bundle."

I could care less(and probably should care less in this situation too) if he bought them from the Big O to resell. Its just the saying he bought them elsewhere part- when he could have just as easily omitted where they came from. Then the blatant lying response to me, when he could have easily just not answered ;p

Replied to him with the above and got this response:

I think the "via"s are supposed to indicate that he passed the test to earn his GED...

Man, I was just kind of blowing off steam before when I said I would bid and not pay but now I'm actually kind of pissed enough to do it.

Sometimes, if the sticker comes off right, you can use the sticker that you peeled off to get the rest of the gunk off. Just stick it back on and pull and repeat and it might pull the rest of it off. This worked on about half of my overstock ones, the others I had to use goo gone.

i also think rubbing alcohol works too. and also something weird like gasoline or kerosine or something greally flamable that would be retarted to use to get off sticker gunk


im thinking im just going to go to shoprite this weekend and grab some goo gone :)
 
Bought me Envy, Stepford Wives & Soul Plane for a total of $4 (free shipping). I had my expectations low & was almost expecting them in CD jewel cases or soemthing, but to my surprise each were in their proper snap case. The DVDs were in good to very good condition. I'm just sorry I didn't load up on more!!!! :(

Lighter fluid works pretty well.
