They'll most likely make you pay the $49.99 price, since the ad shows that being the price for the promo match. In that case, the starter kit would cost you $13.

I wonder if they really would let the GGC stack with the free starter kit. If they do, it'd be time for me to pick up Halo 2.

Just ordered UC2 and got the Xbox Live starter kit free. I don't have the headset and I was looking to continue the subscription, so not a bad deal. Plus Jade Empire and UC2 gives you an instant 3000 reward points, and my brother just got a free rewards account from BB somehow. Not bad at all. Thanks OP.

UC2 gets you 3000 Reward Points? :shock: Is this at B&M or online-only?

I scored UC2 + 3 month XBL kit, used the GGC, which did stack on top of the promotiom, and with $20 in RZ certs, was $25 + tax. Returned UC2 to EB and got Jade Empire LE in its place. Good day.

You know you could have just gotten Jade Empire instead of UC2 at Best Buy. It was part of the same deal.
Today I used the GGC and got UC2, 3 month XBL kit, Ghost Recon 2 Strategy Guide, and Star Wars: Battlefron Strategy Guide for $48
 
Wow, the XBOX Live 3-month Kit is a good deal...didn't notice that. I don't really need it though, butI could EBAY it or try to return it at WalMart ;)

If you paid $49.99 for it, yes, they should let you do it.

If you paid less for it, they will price adjust it backwards to get it back to $49.99 and give you the kit for free, having you pay for the difference. At least, that's supposed to be how it works. If you get a nice rep, they may just let you pick up the kit for free with the PM'd price. GGC does stack with the promotion, so, worst case, you'd pay $44.99 for it + XBL kit.
 
Well, I had to go to a few CC's to track down the last non "Platinum Hits" version of Sonic Heroes for the Xbox! I'm happy now...:D

However, I drop by BB on the way home, and was told that my limited edition JE doesn't qualify for the promotion. Anyone has any success with the LE?

I'll email BB to see if they say otherwise.
