Man, Monkeyball and Monkeyball 2 at Best Buy for 25 bucks sounds nice...but isnt Monkeyball Deluxe coming to PS2, with both games and extras on it? Man, i guess I'll just wait. But I think i'll grab 2 GH games of something else.

I went to Best Buy in Charlotte on Independence Blvd to pick up a Pokemon Colleseum, and a Project Gotham 2, they would not honor the deal because neither one was in the box listed in the ad. PC was in the black box, they didn't have any Yellow Stripe games, and PG2 was in a green box.

Read the OP's first post. It's pretty clear if you ask me, but basically the 2 for $25 at BB is on all PC/PH/GH games, nothing more and nothing less. The sale probably won't work on games that regularly priced 19.99.
I read the OP and it's not clear at all because it says "(19.99ea)". Not all PC/PH/GC games are 19.99 each.

So are you inferring your info from the OP or do you have the ad?
2 for $25
all Greatest, Hits, Platinum Hits & Player's Choices games ($19.99 ea)

All GH/PH/PC games that are normally $19.99 each. Looks pretty clear to me.
Thanks Trakan :D!
Ummm...that wasn't what you said hiccup. You said "all PC/PH/GH games, nothing more and nothing less", which includes those that aren't normally $19.99 each.

So I'm still not sure what the deal is since everyone is giving different interpretations.

All the games were in stock at my best buy, also it says 12.50 on my receipt so im guessing they put it this way 2 for 25 but you can probably just pick up one for 12.50
No Yoshi or even Pokemon Dash? Boo.
Don't worry. These games pretty much suck. Yoshi is better but is basically a tech demo like Luigi's mansion was. Not worth your time.

I guess you are not Yoshi's Island fan.
this game will rock, if you didn't played it yet, don't say things like that.
Famitsu gave max scores(almost at least).
it won't fail.
must-buy!!
as for pokemon dash......nah, we will see.

Has anyone tried VJ2 B&M? I know people keep saying it won't work because it isn't PC, but it is $19.99 (and I noticed that pokemon colosseum doesn't work online either, even though it's in the ad).

Question about the Free TRU $10 Gift Card (with a $50 purchase).

The fine print says "in the event of a return of any item purchased with this coupon, the value of the Gift Card received shall be forfeited on any refunded amount."

Could someone interpret this for me?

I was thinking (any maybe I'm not reading the fine print correctly), what if one uses the Gift Card before you return the items in the original $50 purchase... Aren't you protected from losing any value on the Gift Card? Because TRU can't take away what you spent already. Is this a loophole in the promo?

The reason I ask is because one of the games I'm getting is a gift (which my friend may or may not return)... I'll probably end up using the free $10 Gift Card towards Resident Evil 4 or Tekken 5... PM (Target or BB) and use $10 Gift Card to bring it down to $29.99.

The way they've worded it, it sounds like you won't get a full refund if you try to return one of the items. That is, if the person you give the game to wants to take it back to get a refund, they will probably get the price paid - $10; if, on the other hand, they went for an exchange, I would foresee no problems.

Sly Cooper 1 is confirmed to be $9.97 at Sears. I just picked it up from the Meadows mall in Vegas. They also had The Getaway but not Ratchet and Clank.

Sorry, I went by Gamespot's analysis of the games. They are usually spot-on. I cant waste my time with crap these days or drop the cash on stuff like that. But to each his own. Some people dont agree with reviews, but those people get screwed many times...

The free $10 gift card shows up at the bottom of your receipt as a promotion deal. The person returning it is supposed to deduct $10 from your return if you return anything on the receipt that gets you under $50(they let you keep the gift card even if you didn't use it, but deduct $10). But the return person may not realize you even got the free gift card. To be safe just get a gift receipt for the item that might be returned. The gift receipt will let the person return it for the price you paid for store credit and it will have no mention on it that you got a free gift card.

Picked up Clancy Trilogy and Champions of Norrath for $25...the Clancy trilogy is a YMMV because it depends on the cashier (mine called the games dept and told them and they said to adjust the prices....gotta love naive employees).

I could only find one PC I wanted, so I tried getting a 19.99 non-PC.... and it worked!
I got Mario Sunshine and Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes at CC by pricematching the 2 for 25 deal.

I guess the competitor's ad confused him (and I think purchasing one PC helped legitimize the deal).
I should have attempted to get Viewtiful Joe 2 also!
Sly Cooper 1 is confirmed to be $9.97 at Sears. I just picked it up from the Meadows mall in Vegas. They also had The Getaway but not Ratchet and Clank.
Why would they have R&C because the advertisement is for Sly 1, Getaway and Jak 1.

Well, I bought a few Xbox games that are on sale (2 for $30) this week. Luckily, all the games I got are non-Platinum Hits...:D

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War

I also got the Xbox version of Powerdrome for $12.99. The PS2 version is also on sale for the same price...
Does anyone know if that $19.99 MVP 2005 deal at TRU is available in-store, or is it online only?
Its in-store. I picked up my copy today.

Does anyone know if the 2 for $30 at CC is actually restricted to PC games like at BB? In the past I know that all $19.99 games have worked.
A CC in my area has one copy of BG&E for GC for $19.99, and getting it and VJ2 would be sweet...
