Retro Atari, bad game?
Jungle Beat still seems okay for $55.
Yeah, Retro Atari looks like garbage from everything I've seen on it, but I still haven't played it (don't plan to) so take my opinion with a grain of salt. And JB is definately worth $55 + 25% off. Many stores retail it for at least $60.

I guess it is a dull week for deals.

Haven't you guys learned anything about launch systems? XBOX and PS2 eventually had defects in many units, Gamecube lacked games, and the Nintendo DS lacks games. Why anyone would rush out and drop 250 on a PSP is beyond my comprehension.
Because it has the best launch lineup in the history of gaming. Lumines alone is worth $300.
Not to thread crap but Lumines looks like a really lame game. I don't see why everyone wants it.

Has anybody ever gotten to PM a deal like [Buy 3, get %25 off]?
Do you think it would work at EB because I can't find Donkey Konga at CC...
I got the circular ad, you can mix and match, so I'm hoping to go pick up Donkey Konga, Yoshi's Touch and Go, and Alien Hominid (if they got it)

I bought Jungle Beat today for $50 at BB. Awesome, too awesome. Just a bit short. I can't wait to play Konga though  (I also need a second pair of Kongas :p)

EDIT: What's better, Alien Hominid or Viewtiful Joe 2?
Also, Donkey Konga 2 is announced already? Should I skip Donkey Konga and wait for the second one?

EDIT: VJ2, 2 player?
Alien Hominid, 2 player?
...Would Konga 2 come with another set of bongos?

I haven't played VJ2 but AH on multi is great.

Anyways it looks like I'll have to stop by TRU this week. Thanks OP!

I was just looking at the CC ad since I can't sleep. There's also a deal where if you buy 2 PSP games (excluding Twisted Metal), you get a $10 gift card. That seems a little better than CompUSA's deal.

Now that it's started, do we have definitive word as to whether or not we can mix and match with the CC 25% deal?

Yeah, it says so on the circular ad.
Buy 3 from GBA, DS, GCN and get 25% off.
It should be mix and match from all Nintendo systems.
I'm surprised that there isn't any Yoshi DS deal this week.
Well, I just snagged it in the CC deal for $22.50. Same price on Mario vs. DK and FF1&2, which I'd been meaning to get forever.

Although, I'd recommend renting it, if your local rental establishment rents DS games. You've seen literally everything in an hour.

Confirmed. I just got back from CC in Emeryville (CA). Got Donkey Konga, Jungle Beat, and Tetris Worlds for $97.84 (25% discount).

I checked with GameStop yesterday and they said they don't PM %-off deals. They only PM fixed price deals. I'm guessing EB would have a similar policy?

That sucks. My CC didn't have Donkey Konga last time I went :(
Maybe I'll go check for VJ 2 and Alien Hominid.
Hopefully, VJ2 isn't marked at $50.

Anybody try this yet? I picked up the guide today, but I can't find the coupon in it.

No coupon in the guide that I have.

Also, be careful with the 10% off every PSP game at CompUSA.
THUG2 doesn't ring up in their system with any discount.
I had to fight to get the 10% off.

I wound up taking advantage of the TRU 2 for $20 deal on Classic NES GBA games on Sunday and got The Legend Of Zelda and Castlevania. I was pretty close to shelling out $13 for a loose copy of Zelda at a local GameStop but kept putting it off - I had a feeling I might be able to find a better deal, and sure enough, I saw the TRU ad here and was glad I didn't get that copy at GameStop.

Anyways, thanks once again Dropout.

I went to get God of War at Circuit City lastnight and they were already sold out. Might wanna call ahead of time. Then I went to walmart to get some catfood and they were sold out (or didnt have it yet, didnt ask there since the people are idiots).

This game is getting insanely high posative reviews and word of mouth.

The coupon was left out of the guide. At my BB, they had photocopies of the coupon, which is even better, because they are reproduceable. I don't have access to a scanner right now, but hopefully someone else can post it.
