I already have Fight Night 2 and SW:Republic Commando on order at GameRush....

Going to be a busy few weeks with all the new games I have....and baseball games...whoa
 
Did all these stores forget Tekken 5 came out?

This is one of the PS2's big name games, I didn't expect to see sales for it last week since it comes out today, but not even any ads this week either?

I'd love to have it, I'd love to get it for at least 40, but I'm not real sure I want to wait even longer and see if anyone wakes up and puts a sale on it.

I think most stores were forecasted to receive it in March, not in february. it wasn't til a few weeks ago that the february release date was confirmed, and usually the ad's are made at least a week or two before they're even sent to the presses.

Fry's might have an instore deal on it. it's happened before.
 
Next week. It's the only highlight. 14.99 for a few PH/GH games including FSW, NFL Street 1, Jak2. It looks like CoH, Dawn of War and Pirates are 9.99 a piece but it's after buying WinXP and rebates.
 
Thats a great price on Warhammer at CC. I'm going to have to install the demo and if I like it I might have to buy it from CC.com.
Thats also a good price on Oddworld, but I kind of want to find and play the other Oddworld games before I get the new one.
 
wait...so is warrioware touched 10% off at BB too? it says all DS games are 10% off just wasn't sure if it included warrioware. if it is, then that'd be awesome because 10% + $5 off GGC = very good deal for warrioware

If you two want a deal, then I think Fry's has it this weekend for five dollars cheaper then every where else.
 
Some alternatives for MLB 2006 and Fight Night 2:

Outpost.com still has MLB 2006 for $24.99. I'm pretty sure all versions of the game will contain the voucher or whatever for the free cap. The free shipping is gone, though:

EDIT: I lied...sorta. It's now $39.99 when you add it to your cart. Maybe you can call and get it for the listed $24.99 price.

If you have an EA store $15 off coupon and are in a state that doesn't charge tax for the EA store, you should be able to score Fight Night 2 for about $41 shipped.

On a completely different note, it's also worth noting that the exclusive Xbox game, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, which scored well (8.8 on xbox.ign.com) and grabbed an average media score of 8.8, didn't rent or sell well, with 28,317 units sold all told.

It's not even close to 50k units which is pretty bad. I think it will see a universal price drop of $30 rather soon, and I know most Wal-Marts and big stores got in 20+ copies.
 
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the $39.99 price for Mercenaries. That's one I'm excited to see, because I was planning on picking it up next week anyway for my brother (birthday gift) and was expecting to drop $50 for it.

I don't really follow games as much as I used to, and I didn't the release date got pushed up, just that it was supposed to come out soon.

I don't really feel like waiting a few weeks for 5-10 dollars off, so I might as well just get it now.

And with all the great reviews Devil May Cry 3 is getting (9.6 on IGN is the most recent I think) I'll definately get that at 39.99.

HUGE YMMV. Technically you can either use the GGC or the sale price, not BOTH. Usually the GGC is a better deal than 10% off.

GGC = 26.49

I'm assuming the online price already has the 10% off, unless it's different than B&M. The B&M price is advertised as 34.99 before the 10% savings. (Regardless, the GGC is still the better deal.)

Edited to add: Does the GGC work on items bought online for local pickup? Because then you could use both the GGC and 10% off.
 
Screw Best Buy and their Reward Zone card. I had that last year and it was a big waste. Now they finally offer up gaming deals? They can suck my left nut. Besides, CC is offering Fight Night at 40 dollars WITH NO CRAP GIMMICK. I'll take my business over there.

No, you can use the GGC on sale priced items. The 10% off is automatic in the system and the GGC is being added in. It's not like the cashier enters in the 10% off manually. I've done this before a few times with no problem. Unless they've added a protocol into the system to disallow GGC from being combinted from sale items, I don't see how it wouldn't work.
 
I don't doubt that Oddworld hasn't sold all that well initially but this is one of those games that could develop a following over time. The reviews for it are stellar.

Anyway, good weekend for me. Got Prince of Persia 2 for $25 and Oddworld for $30 with GGC. Just gotta finish up KOTOR 2 first!
