If I wanted to do a price match at Best Buy, would I have to take it to customer service or to any register? (I've never price matched before)
 
Best Buy are the biggest fucking crooks ever. Charging for installation of an Xbox? Even OFFERING an installation service for a game system? This shows their true colors.
 
I'd pay $159 for them tards to come to my house. I'd make them do everything and act like I didn't understand anything...I'd definitely have some fun pissing them off.

I absolutely detest the whole idea of this Geek Squad that they are running. I think its the most retarded fucking thing I have seen come out of any mass retailer in a long time.
 
Shame I don't have a Circuit City, I'd like to pick up the Doom 3 expansion for $25. That said, I DO have a Best Buy. Any idea what the "Weapons of Doom 3" book is? Is it more of a real book, or just a pamplet torn out of a manual that says a paragraph on each weapon?

I had the same reaction as you guys when i saw the geek squad install package w/ the xbox, like wtf?! but i think it has to do w/ the wireless router that is included in the package. some ppl just don't know or won't care to figure out how to switch over to wireless internet and might rather pay someone else to do it for them... *shrug*
 
The GeekSquad thing withstanding, that Best Buy package is actually a really good deal if you were looking for an XBOX. 50 gift card, wireless router, wireless adaptor, XBox Live starter kit (12month.) If I were in the market, I'd jump on that deal. I'd decline the Geek Squad coming over, but otherwise it's great.

Anyways, thanks to the original poster. Was gonna pick up SC:CT at CC today, but I'm gonna wait for CompUSA now.

The way prices are listed for the home install (which I would never need:D), the xbox live starter kit, and the wireless g router it makes it look like they are add on's you have to pay for in addition to the package.

No, you don't get an xbox it just the service fee that they charge is like $159 bucks and then you would have to buy the products for it to turn out to be $258.99
 
Compusa really does have the PC version of SC:CT for $29.99. It's $49.99 with a $20 instant rebate.. So glad I saw this before I went out today or I would have missed out on it.. Thanks!
