Video Card Advice?

I need a new video card, and I want to spend under $250, so I wanted to know if anyone has some advice. I was thinking about this one since it is a great card, and is only $230.

Anyone know of a card under $250 that gives me more performance for the buck? The x800 pro seems to be worth $80 more than a 6600gt. Is that correct? Thanks for any help.

If you prefer ATI, Id wait as the new cards should be out soon so the x800 pro should drop in price.

Do you really think it will drop below $228? Also, when do the new cards come out?

I believe in a month. And yes, I think less than $228 or I wouldnt have said to wait.

Can I be sure? No. But $230 isnt killer hot to me for that card right now. More warm.
