There was this tv/monitor kinda thing sold at Funcoland in the mid 90s. I'm thinking the brand was either Samsung,Sony,Panasonic,or RCA. Was a 13 inch CRT. It had speakers that came out on each side when you opened it. The color was dark grey. When it was closed it had an engraved logo over the front. The system at the time it was being shown with was N64 or PSone. If anyone knows what its called please let me know. Been looking on Google and eBay and asking a number of my gaming friends with no luck. It is driving me nuts, lol. I would totally get one if I knew it still exists. Being from the mid 90s its most likely super rare. Thanks in advance for looking at this post and trying to help me out.

I know exactly what TV you're talking about (unfortunatly I don't remember the name.) I always saw it advertised in gaming magazines. Due to the fold out speakers it had a bulky look. Still, I remember wanting one.

Exactly. I can totally picture it in my head but to describe it 100% is impossible. Im glad Im not the only one who knows of this ever existing, lol. Do you remember off hand what gaming magazine you saw it in the most? Maybe I could backtrack that way and find more info from them.

I can't remember. But I used to read a lot of Ultra Game Players (still my favorite mag ever) and GameFan. So I'm sure it was advertised heavily in at least one of those.

Holy Crap!!!! You sir are my hero. Back when I was young,my parents refused to buy it for me,lol. Was only until a few days ago that I remembered it existed. Ever since, I have been on a quest to find one. Thank you so much. Brought back so many memories. How long did you have it for?

Nice.

Years ago, some dude unloaded his C64 on me with monitor. Turned out the monitor had A/V jacks built in and was color, so my bro used it for his PS1. He eventually fried it, though. It was nice while it lasted though, as it wasn't as bulky or heay as a 13" TV.

Had one of these to demo N64 and PS1 games on at the EB I worked at ages ago. Speakers pumped out a surprising amount of sound. My friend would pop in his Slipknot disc and blast it as loud as possible while we were closing the store sometimes. We got the dirtiest looks from people still in the mall. :D
