Might not be a bad idea to stop by KB B&M though, true it doesn't help this site, but KB is notorious for running chaotic clearances at their stores.

Much like those who say all the K-marts in their region are gone, I find there are no survivng KBtoys B&M in my vicinity. (The store locator on the site shows several within 50 miles but in odd out of the way locations that assure a long slow death.) Until I'd seen some mentions on CAG I'd been under the impression the whole B&M portion of the company was winding down.

I suspect they're among those businesses that failed or are in in decline under the onslaught of Target and Wal-mart. Since they tend to be in malls they don't have the inventory depth of a TRU and face high lease costs for their space. It also didn't help that they're one of those chains that just doesn't seem to have its act together. Which is too bad because as long as they struggled along they occasionally would have a haphazard clearance that would put recent titles at markdowns that had to be wrong. When there was still a local KB I learned to keep an eye out for any stock in the game section that seemed oddly segregated. Often this would one of those sales with no signage or publicity.

kb did go out in some areas.
mine did, i still have an outlet but no main kb.

i got a couple of gameguides cheap and raw for xbox for 20 cents. some other crap cheap too, a bag full of stuff for only 10 bucks, if yours starts to go, check often, they pull stuff from the back and you can nab the games at cheap prices.
Those things are cool, I bought one for 100 bucks.
I think mine burned out recently. It released an acrid stench and the LCD went dead. *sob*

I've got one, and it's actually pretty cool.
I'm very tempted at that price but when I've tried it out in stores I find it's just too difficult to use properly. Fast games have too many details reduced to near invisible tininess and slow games are likely to have text that is near illegible ont he little screen. The concept is appealing though and I'm definitely hoping to find a Sears with a cheap PSone screen as my living space may be very constrained for a while. This may force me to keep my big screens (TV and computer monitors) in storage and operate entirely from laptops and console mounted LCDs.

Damn I was excited to see road rash for 7$! I've been wanting it for awhile, but then I saw the shipping :(

Oh well, maybe some other time I'll see a deal on this game.

I'd like to thank you for the sarcasm. You see, because you mentioned controller extensions I actually clicked on the link to check it out. I wasn't even going to bother. But I just picked up 3 GC extensions for around $10 after shipping. I'd been wanting to get some for a while now. Thanks again :)
