Videogames and Comics The Movie

Comics: They do so many now, but I'd love to see a Blade of the Immortal movie (even though you probably wouldn't technically call it a comic...)

Game: Castlevania, there hasn't been a good vampire movie for a little while...

I think the movie industry should make more original films and get away from using video game or comic book titles for the quick sell.

Comic Book: The Avengers.
Video Game: The Legend of Zelda. Due to the fact that it needs more than three hours to tell the story, it should be awesome if it gets the respect from the filmmakers.

I wouldn't mind seeing Planescape : Torment turn into a movie. The RPG game has a really good story that will translate pretty easily to movie. And the special effect in movie will make it really awesome.

Comic: Flaming Carrot

Video Game: Grand Theft Auto

Comic: dunno, seems like everything is being turned into a movie nowadays.

Game: Killer 7

Comic: Watchmen. Basically anything Alan Moore

Game: Zelda seems long overdue. Castlevania, Prince of Persia, and God of War are all of my other choices.

God of War, Halo 1 (see also: Fall of Reach, the novel) would both make excellent movies, because they're fairly short and concise story wise. Much of Halo 1 was extended by repeated caverns, the actual story/events take place over about 12 hours or so, so that would make for a nice 2 hour movie.

I think it'd make more sense to turn the novel "the fall of reach" into a book. I'd much rather see all the spartan 2.0's and the training and the beginnings of the human-covenant war, rather than things that the games have already told. Besides, the battle on Reach would make for a more spectacular climax than anything in Halo 1. Ending the movie with the discovery of Installation 04 would be perfect.

God Of War? Jesus god no. I heard Kratos scream "ARIES!!!!" every 15 minutes in the game. I don't need to hear it for 2 straight hours in a theater.

Comic: Wow, there's not many comics left that haven't already been turned into movies. Um...Calvin and Hobbes?

Game: A movie based on the Metroid series would be nice. I heard a rumor a while ago that they were going to work on making this, but I haven't heard anything about it recently.
The "What if" Comics issue where Punisher killed Spiderman and Animal Crossing.
The "What If" stories would make a great weekly show on T.V. I can see it now:

And on UPN's Prime-Time Power Block! : "What If Spider-Man had joined the Fantastic Four?" Check out the brand new "What If" hosted by Stan Lee, Thursday at 9:00.

I'd watch it.

I'm pretty sure this already is a movie and unless I'm mistaken, it sucked.

Nightwing needs his own movie, preferably after they do the 3 new batmans.

They need to do a movie on the Avengers (or the "Ultimates" depending on what storylines you follow)

There hasn't been a Zelda movie yet, but I don't think there should be, as that would give link a definitive voice.

a multi-part chrono trigger epic would be cool though

games: XIII, ff8, resident evil 1 and 2, theres a bunch, but they would just be butchered anyways, so its pointless to put effort into making a list ^^

Yeah, that's a good idea, but no one could fit the part of Solid Snake.

Am I crazy? I thought Avengers is a movie.

And as for Watchmen...

Comics: Power Pack (with a Wolverine cameo), Runaways, Bazooka Jules, The infinity comics(Crusade, Gaultlet, and war)
Games: Risk, Ninja Gaiden, Pokemon (live action), Britney's Dance Beat (she needs the cash), Final Fantasy 9 and Tactics, XIII
