I'm not sure what the price of the PS2 version has been, but I'm pretty sure the GC version has been $19.99 for the most part. Used price of the PS2 is still 14.99, so I'm guessing this is a drop for that system as well.

Looks like I can get this for a little cheaper than it was at the Blue Light sale with my $10 voucher, since the copy I got at K-Mart had no disc...
Awesome. Is this B&M too?
No clue... but I may get around to my EB today to try to exchange Soul Calibur 2 so I will check on it.
weird freeshipall doesnt seem to work for gamestop
You have to use an affiliate link. Try the links in the first post or the GameStop link under "Shop" in the header.

I could have sworn that VJ2 was $9.99 at one point (EB?)... or maybe it was the original... the covers of both games looks very similar.

I think possibly the ps2 version was but i would have passed it up... Im afraid of the slowdowns so i grabbed the gc version... gotta make my gc useful somehow, since zelda wont be making an appearance this year. :(

You can get this at the monthly K-Mart sales for $9.99. I bought it a couple months ago for that price but still haven't opened it yet.

Yeah... I was lucky enough to open mine a couple weeks after buying it as there was no disc inside. And they had no more in stock.

VJ2 was new at $9.99 for PS2 from EB's website for over a month 2 months ago. I bought it was that price and don't regret it. Then again I don't have a GC so that might have made it an easier decision. I don't notice slowdown that much but I'm hearing that the GC version is much better. If you have a choice, go for the GC version, but I'm glad I jumped on the $9.99 deal when EB had it at that price.

I thought $10 was the universal price for VJ2, at least for the PS2 version anyway. I picked it up a few weeks ago but have yet to play it.

If I could find the original VJ for $5-$10 new, I'm pretty sure the sequel will fall to that price range as well eventually. :D Sales figures weren't that great for the sequel, right?

Crap. I just went to the EB in Rock Center and some girl bought the last one about 10 minutes before I got there according to the guy behind the counter...

Was it $14.99?

Absolutely! My local mall EB refused to honor either discounted price (VJ2 or Killer 7), but the GameStop down the hall honored both, and had the cases maked with the new prices. The EB gave me a big lecture about the website being a separate operation, etc., etc., etc., which I've sickeningly heard before. So, $45 for both games - heck of a deal....thanks very much to the initial posters!
