Hey all.

Looks like VJ has arrived (a week early) Anyone buy this? Its $39.99 at most stores, but Best Buy has it for $29.99.

I saw it at my Rhino. Dunno how much it was. They wouldn't let me get it :(

/edit: It's apparently rather short, several people i've talked to have beat the game multiple times..

Ive seen this at a ton of stores; EB, Best Buy, Game Crazy, etc. I just picked mine up from BB for $25 ($5 off using a Nintendo Power coupon)

All Viewtiful Joe's are pretty short, though.

The fun is usually in the replays.

visually it is absolutely amazing. It makes very few comprimises from the GC/PS2 VJ. The touch screen abilties are cool as well. It plays just like the console ones, but with the new DS additions. I am not buying it because I never got into Viewtiful Joe too much, but VJ fans should not miss this game. It was very fun.

And I can't believe they got 3D on both screens, with that much detail!

I might have to Gamefly this one. I'm spending way too much money on DVDs and DS games this month. I could've fed 10 Indonesian children with that money.

Common misconception. Indonesian children don't usually eat money.

Feed them, why? Maybe if there mothers didn't keep popping out kids when they can't afford it YOU could afford Viewtiful Joe DS.

Picked it up at Target earlier today. I am a Joe fan & I am more than happy with this game so far.

I picked it up today..... and there is only one thing that bugs me... the collision detection suuucksss!!!!!!!!!

Other than that, I'm very impressed. :)

So far I've found it to be highly enjoyable. The new VFX powers are awesome and the puzzles make excellent use of the touch screen. This game should be the benchmark for a traditional style game with touch screen use; it is so far beyond the seals in Castlevania that it isn't even funny.

I never finished VJ 1 and I never played 2, so the formula (which is basically the same as the console versions with slightly less mindless action) isn't old for me.

I paid $39.99 for this at EB and I don't regret it, so at $29.99 or lower I'd say its hard to go wrong if you like Joe, even a little bit :)
