I noticed right before RAW went off air when Kennedy came back in the ring he was holding his wrist & twirling his hand as if it was in pain. I figured it it was part of the show. Guess it wasn't.

Guess we should just start calling him Misterrrrrr Injuryyyy......Injuryyyyy.

Kennedy's next appearance on Raw will be him walking into the arena carrying his bag, setting the bag down and separating his shoulder.

Aside from the opening segment dragging on forever, being unfunny and incredibly petty, and the absurd visual of both Batista in a full Lakers outfit and the supposedly psychopathic Randy Orton wearing a basketball jersey, I didn't mind the show much. Even that last part was amusing since Orton looked annoyed by wearing it and rolled his eyes during his intro.

I dug the main event match itself, although I didn't care much for Kennedy in it. I was far more excited to see Lawler involved, and he was perfect here. King really could work well as a tag team guy since his singles matches haven't been good in a long while. He just came in, hit his perfect punches, slammed some guys, and played the face in peril when needed. Perfect use of him in the ring. And the stereo ballin' elbow/five knuckle shuffle was a great way to give a rub to MVP. It's a shame that its highlight reel potential is hurt by the Lakers garb.

The triple threat match was also good - not a classic, but a very enjoyable Regal vs. Kofi match with Matt thrown in a few times to do cowardly heel spots. The pace was pretty quick, and having MVP come out to do commentary actually made the title seem important while also making the contenders seem credible since he's back to being a main eventer again.

Now, while there's some stuff I liked, it didn't do anything to make me want to watch the PPV. After two hours, they built up nothing new except for a hog pen match. And they did nothing to build up the existing matches either.

Quotes -
Miz - The Cavs will win because Lebron James is just like THE MIZ - AWESOME!!
(before Maryse-Kelly)J.R. - This may not be a beautiful match in my estimation.
Cole - Who’s gonna win this match, J.R.?
J.R. - I think the blonde will have the edge. I’m going out on a limb there - don’t make a wager at home.
Goldust - JACK NICHOLSON! WOO WOO IT’S NICE TO FINALLY MEET YOU! MEET YOU! Sorry about that, I got electrocuted a few years ago - but I’m okay now.
Cole - Michael Clarke Duncan loves to be a part of the WWE Universe and loves to support John Cena!
J.R. - It’s time for Santinowood!
(Beth runs to attack him)Santino - AAAAHHHH! (screaming like a girl)
(after winning and getting the mic)Santino - VERY IMPORTANT THING!
Santino - I have so many match ideas in my head! One was the leaning tower of pizza pepperoni match! I MADE THAT MYSELF! ANOTHER WAS A PASTA ON A POLE MATCH - THAT’S A MARELLA ORIGINAL. THE ONE I THINKS I’M A GONNA CHOOSING - A HOG PEN MATCH! REEEE! YOU’RE GONNA BE WITH DA PIGS!
Cole - Last week, the Colons beat the team of Goldust and THE Brian Kendrick.
Carlito - Yes, yes we did.
(to Festus)Kendrick - TAG ME YOU IDIOT!
J.R. - King was around back when they had the red, white, and blue ball in the ABA.
J.R. - Rhodes and Lawler…how many times have we said that name over the years?

I think Batista wore the full jersey outfit because all of the other guys looked gay as hell wearing a jersey with the small speedo tights. I can't stand it when wrestlers who have the tights like RKO, HHH, Kennedy etc wear t-shirts with their tights. It just doesn't look right.

Just scoured some photos of Raw.

What a shitshow.

Not that I'm surprised.

I'm kinda glad that I've been too busy to do anything but work recently. Cutting down on my CAG time and my gaming time...and my watching WWE. Too busy to watch a show I loathe every week.

That's a stupid idea. How many WWE guys even do submissions or have them as finishers? OOPS, I forgot that CENA does the STF.
NO NO NO ITS ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT YOU FOOL!!!!
Sorrys I had to do that. ;)

Jericho, for one. Also, they had Edge use the Sharpshooter a couple of times recently. I'm sure they could have Rey do Eddy's "Lasso from El Paso," too.

It's probably because UFC's PPV buy rates are blowing any WWE PPV out of the water.

That's only because all WWE fans gather at one house and watch the PPV.

A few years ago , this idea for a PPV would have been really cool , now though. :/

I don't know a single person, other than myself, who still watches it.

I was referencing Vince's asinine excuse for why PPV buys are down.

I'm going to take a dump, point a webcam at the toilet and see if I can get more people watching that than the next WWE PPV. I suspect it will be pretty close.

And unlike Vince, I won't be charging for my shit.

Well, 24 Season 8 is ruined. Not really, but I can't stand the guy.

THR reports that a former WWE name has been added to the list of new series regulars booked for season eight of "24."

According to sources,
Freddie Prinze, Jr.
, who is coming off a stint as a WWE creative team member, will join the show for its upcoming "Day 8."

Prinze
will appear as Davis Cole, an ex-Marine who runs field operations for the revived
CTU branch
in
New York
. The character aspires to follow in the footsteps of Jack Bauer.

Nazneen Contractor also joins the show as daughter to Anil Kapoor's Middle Eastern leader character. Season eight launches in January 2010.

Why was Austin so pissed? He WON, damn it.
Won what? That night, the NWO cost him his Undisputed Title match with Jericho.

Also, pics of Matt Striker's "beer can wiener" are supposedly available online. *shudders*

This evening has been gold. Why did Shad from Cryme Time say to Shelton Benjamin that he "looks like Wesley Pipes" during Superstars.

Sting just fired the women from MEM & he got rid of the security team.

Also, why did Joe come out and say the was going to "kill" Kurt Angle.

Raven looked like he was in pretty decent shape, but the announcers couldn't even feign excitement for him coming over the rail. More like "Oh, look, the surprise return of Raven...aaaaaand now he's hitting him with the kendo stick"

I wonder will Daffney fall in love Raven now? This is too funny how two people that got their start in the original ECW are back together again in TNA.

I hope Raven plays a better opponent with Abyss then Matt Morgan.

How in the fuck did Victoria get a bigger pop out of the annouce team then Raven?

cause she was just on WWE TV.. but yeah man Raven looked good. I'm a big Raven mark, but I did not dig the bleech blonde hair era, but he looked good tonight

Alot of former ECW'ers in TNA now. Decent show tonight but like someone else stated, they really didn't put over Raven all that well. It was like ho-hum its raven.
I thought I had missed Shane Douglas' return cuz I had been flipping from time to time to the Cavs/Magic game until he showed up in the last 10 secs. of the show.

The best part is that TNA has Raven, Shane Douglas, Stevie Richards, The Dudleys, and the incoming Taz on their roster. That's kinda awesome.
