Has anyone ever seen this before? Is it legit and what's it worth? Supposedly it's a Nintendo Television with an NES built right into it.

Wow, I wonder how many of those I've passed by during my life without knowing its purpose. Never knew such a thing existed.

i'd clean it up really good and sell it on ebay.. yours actually has the nintendo seal on it, the one on the link didnt. id say around $400-$600! lucky you!

No, it's actually not mine. Someone is selling it for $100 (maybe I can work him down to $70 or something) and I thought it looked really intriguing.

Do you really think it's worth $400? o_O I can't even find an auction for it on eBay.

it's legit and hard to find, but there's not too much demand for it....

if i could pick one up for $100 or less i would......but i would only pay that if it came with 2 of the original all black controllers it is suppose to come with (different from the original black and gray nes controllers.)

Yeah, try to get the stuff that it originally cam with(manual, controllers, ect.). If you can't get that stuff, then for sure you could work him down on it.

It looks like it's in pretty bad shape... plus, no telling how long it'll last as it's probably getting on in years. And all of this isn't concerning the fact that it's connector pins are probably worn and not the best shape, something you can't replace easily like you can with a regular NES.

Yeah, that could also help when trying to work him down. Also, do you know if it is working??

I assume it's working. I'll test it at his house. He just emailed saying he would take $75 for it. I'm hoping to get him down to $40.

He doesn't have any of the accessories that originally came with it. He says it's on a box somewhere and he'll let me know if he finds it.

Yeah, you could maybe work him down to $60. While your working him down, mention the condition and the stuff in a box somewhere.

When I was younger my friends parents had a TV like that with the nintendo built right in it so they could try to make a family thing out of game playing and did not want him to play it all day and night. Well as cool as it was they had nothing but issues with the nintendo and ended up just buying my friend a stand alone console and a small TV.

So I would say make sure it works first and lowball as much as possible. If that thing were to break who knows if you would be able to find any components to fix it so buy it low and sell it right away lol.

Thanks for the tips everyone. :) I am going to see it on Monday or Tuesday it's looking like. I'll let you all know what happens.

Maybe the trade didn't go through? Normally someone would post if they obtained the item they asked advice for, right? (At least that's my logic)

Sorry for the delay everyone. I'm only 14 and I have to rely on my parents to drive me. And I can't set a time with this guy it seems. I need to cooridinate with my parents and with the guy and with me.

Hopefully I'll meet him this week. :(

When you do go, test the NES part and the TV part.
And check putting games in the NES and watching the TV, not just playing the NES with it.

Update: First he calls me up and says that he tested it and did not work this time! :(

But, hopefully he just didn't clean it right, or maybe I can fix it. On the plus side, he found the box of 25 NES games and accessories.

So I was supposed to meet him a week ago, but he didn't show up do to some family thing. Then I was supposed to meet him yesterday, but he called and said he didn't have the work day off like he said. So now I'm supposed to meet him this Thursday. :/

I'm shooting for $15 for the lot.

Good luck! Hope you get some good carts with it, because snagging all that for under $25 (even if the system is not working) would be a steal!
