Viva Piñata: Party Animals - Gen. Discussion

This game rains achievements. I was joking with my wife saying stuff like "Oh why don't you give me another achievement" and blimp there another one was...then I said "why not one more?" and blimp a third achievement popped up......long story short, i did one race and got 5 achievements.

I beat it in 15 minutes.

This is definitely a rental.

What do you mean beat it? Party games aren't meant to end. :D

My kids loved the original game, *really* love the show, and yet played the demo for this once and then forgot about it. I'll probably rent the game for them but they really don't seem to care (they want the Simpson's game).

Well I beat the party......it ended.......and i had to press start in the main menu to keep partying....but it was too late.....the party was over...
 
can you get the toys from anywhere besides burger king? my wife loves them but she's very vegeratian lol.

anyways looking at the achievements and the reviews, it looks like I'll be adding this to the rental queue to appease the wife for a bit (and for the achievements lol) since I've been playing a lot of bioshock lately.

I don't think so; well besides eBay. But, you can buy the toys separetly, without buying a kids meal for like $1.29 I think.

Yeah, and when I went in the other day to do so, they just gave me the toys. YMMV on that though ;).

But you better hurry. I went in today and they already had SpongeBob Atlantis SquarePantis toys. I was able to get another Fergie they still had left over though. My local BK never had the Cocoadile or Horstachio toys, but I was able to get the display copies of those at a different one last week (no toys inside though).
 
This game is a rental at best. There is two type of game play, a racing game and event (mini) games. The Racing game is pretty lame, basiclly one lap is a simple path. The mini games are okay but to me the control seems to be a bit lose. As a party game it is average at best.
 
Yea I love the game even though i got it purely for the achivements I like it. does anyone wanna help me get the xbl achivements? oh and I got that one achivement that that I can give to u the cath it if u can achivement. hit me up my GT is the same as my name
 
lame, for some reason my rental place (canflix.com) isnt listing this game even though it has some fairly random 360 games
 
Sorry for bump, but I just got this game the other day.
I like it a lot!! Saying it's the best party game on the 360 would be stupid, considering the only other game is Fuzion Frenzy 2. I'm REALLY liking this! :applause:

I only played 1 medium game last night (and ended up with a ton of achievements :rofl: )I also ended up with 2 gamer pics! How many gamer pics are there in this game? I looked all over the internet and I really can't find shit on this game :cry:

The only thing that makes me mad about this game.. it really should be on the Wii. Some mini games just would work so much better on the Wii--considering there's alot of mini games where you have to use a cursor!

Somebody get back to me about the gamerpics! :)
 
I don't know... I think I got the very same 2 gamerpics when I first played. I got this used from that GC deal (buy a controller, get a used game half off). So that made it $20 in GC credit - not bad. I knew I could get it cheaper if I waited, but the kids had wanted it so I bought it as a surprise for them. It is enjoyable for what it is, anyway, though they grew tired of it pretty quickly. We'll go back to it off and on I'm sure though.

By the way, I noticed today that it was tagged $29.99 at Fred Meyer - does this indicate a universal drop? They almost never have a markdown like that unless it is universal (besides their clearances which this was not - would have been $29.97 with a red sticker in that case).
