Vivendi might join Ubisoft to fight EA

There was also an article this week about possible support from Infogrames/Atari to help them out, but the financials for both Vivendi and Atari have been weak, so I wouldn't be expecting much from either front.
 It looks like some publishers hate EA as much as some of the CAG members do. :)
I know, it's great isn't it. :D Maybe Midway and Sega will jump into the action also. Especially Sega since EA robbed them of the NFL license and any other developer.

I thought Vivendi was just as bad as EA? I mean didn't all those Blizzard employees quit because of their harsh management over them or something? Also how could their financials be bad when they publish Blizzard games and HL2 for god's sake??

When Valve sells copies of HL2 through Steam, cutting VU out of the picture.

good because the last thing we need is instead of sam fisher with a sony ericson he'll have a sony walkman listening to EA's terrible rap soundtrack thats in NFSU

Yes, there are right behind EA in evil game companies. They tried to screw Valve, have screwed others and they have a bunch of other legal matters pending that have to do with not paying their employees, etc.

The rebirth of the Axis power!!! *bites nails*

When will people realize EA sports games are the exact same as their last year's game with a newer roster?!
maybe on the same day they realize GTA games are all alike except now you can eat pizza and get fat.
You mean just like both halo games are the same?

yes, or that Metroid Prime Echoes is the same as the first.

It's not really a suprise that new games fall in pricing so quickly after release now. And ESPN sports have a lot to do with this, almost like an exclamation point on the phenomenon. Yeah, Sega !
