So, this is my first go at the lowball sale. I want to start off with thanking DV8MAD for creating the idea that is great for both the buyer and seller!!!
I also want to thank Strell for helping me see the benefits of a lowball sale, as I was very hesitant to get rid of my stuff at first, but this will work out for the better!

Thankfully, no and no. Times aren't the best for anybody, but we're all trying to make due. The real reason I started this lowball sale is to keep my dream alive.
I play drums for a band called PHENOMENECRONOMICON, and I was using one of our guitarist's drums. Well, he decided he didn't like the band much anymore, so he left and has decided to take his drums back. I still have a kit, but we are becoming more popular and doing a few better paying shows and on the edge of recording a full length album. At this point, I won't be able to afford drums just with what I have now, and if I don't buy new drums, chances are the band will stop.
I love music. I've been playing instruments for the better half of my life, and I strive to always give the people what they pay for. If the band were to break up, I'd be letting myself down by giving up one of the things I've given so much time, energy, and blood (cymbals are sharp...) but I'd also be letting down the people who do actually enjoy us.
So that is the story, and that's why I'm putting items up now. Sure, I may not have the NES World Championship Cartridge, but I have some items you may want to try and get for a few dollars instead of spending a chunk of cash to buy it new.
Alright, so now let's get down to the rules:
- THE ENDING TIME AND DATE IS SUNDAY AUGUST 16th at MIDNIGHT; One minute after 11:59 SUNDAY NIGHT.
- All items start off at $1 (except for the one exception, the drums)
- Bidding will be in increments of $.50
- Shipping will be about $3 for the first item, and $1.50 for every item after.
- There will be some items that shipping will be more expensive (keyboard, drums, etc.) Those bulkier items will have the shipping price at the end of the auction.
- Let's have some fun with this, there will be some odd items, but nothing wrong with that.
Ending the Auction:
This Auction will NOT have a rolling end. It will have a solid end time, which is on August 16th at midnight. THIS MEANS SUNDAY AT MIDNIGHT, OR 12 AM ON 8/17, IF YOU WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT THAT WAY. I will post as close to midnight ending the auction, but I will only accept bids that are in by 11:59.
Payment:
Payment will be through Paypal. I will use the paypal fee calculator at the end of the auction for the paypal fees that will be taken out. Try to pay as soon as you can, but I can wait about 5-7 days if you need it. It just means your items might be shipped out a little later... Hey, about shipping.....
Shipping:
I will ship via USPS with the most cost efficient choice. If you pay $5 for shipping, and priority is $8, I won't use priority. If you pay $5 for shipping, and priority is $5.50~$6, I will pay the rest for priority. DC will be provided as well. Shipping will be $3 for the first item, and $1.50 for every other item, unless noted. Bigger items = bigger shipping cost.

- I will update the first page to reflect your bids as often as possible. Feel free to check the latest bids on the last page(s) if you are unsure of the latest update.
- Minimum bid is $1.00 - if you win it at that, it's yours plus shipping. If someone bids $5 and you outbid them for $10, you may win the item for your $10 bid and pay your bid plus shipping at the end of the sale.
- The smallest bid increment is $.50, no $.10 or $.01 bids!
- Please note that you will be expected to pay the amount you bid plus appropriate shipping if you have the highest offer at the end. Negative feedback may be left for those who choose not to follow through with payment.

So here's the deal... If you can't tell by now, music is my life. I have a side project called Ocean's Next Victim [ www.myspace.com/oceansnextvictim ] . If you have any idea who Akira Yamaoka is, he's influenced my music about 95%. If not, he does the music and sound design for the Silent Hill games and is simply amazing.
So, how does this collaboration work? Well, here's the deal. I enjoy rap and hip hop, so much so that I rap a little bit. If you go to the myspace listed above, you will see that my rap is not serious rap... Listen to the song Donutzzz, and you'll know exactly what I mean... And Eddie Izzard fans should dig the intro... So here's what we're auctioning off.
The winning bidder and I will contact each other back and forth and decide on a topic about the rap. Most things are not off limits, but the standard morality line shouldn't be crossed. Nothing TOO vulgar--Hey, just because my screen name is Vulgarism, doesn't mean I'm a tough guy.
So the winning bidder will decide with me a topic for the rap. I will then create the backing track and write the lyrics. The finished product will be put on the Myspace, as well as my facebook, and a link will be put up on CAG as well, for all to see the final product. The winning bidder will be credited, and the song will be on my next album, which is about 1/2 done. Also, when I have Ocean's Next Victim shows, I will play the song.
The winning bidder will also get a few copies of my first cd, and some posters from an old show, as actual tangible winnings, on top of a fun little rap.
