Unfortunately, I don't have The Rising, and actually just found out it was a prequel to City of the Dead a week ago... I did enjoy City of the Dead's take on the zombie genre, and it was pretty disgustingly detailed :D
Ya, that's what I heard too. I'm a die-hard zombie fan, have been for years now, and that is one of the few good zombie books i haven't gotten to yet. Looking forward to reading it (that is, if i win it =) ). Tho I'll have to read The Rising first of course ;).

If you like zombie books, I recommend Day by Day Armageddon. It's fantastic. A bit hard to find (super overpriced in most online websites), but a great read.

Really? I'll check that one out, I haven't found too many zombie books at this point... Any others to recommend?
Not sure if you already noted this somewhere.. but what time zone are you in?
Central, so about 1 Eastern and 10 Pacific
Sigh. I do not look forward to being sniped out of everything tonight. It saddens me.
I was thinking of implementing something where the last 30 minutes minimum bids have to be at least $1... Hoping to deter some sniping, but it's looking like the sale is slowing down a bit. I appologize for not ending it last night, but I knew it would have been a LONGGG night.

Nah, I wouldn't try to deter sniping if I were you. Sure, it would be nice for those of us that bid early, but you'll get more money if people snipe, and every good band needs a good drum set.

To be honest, the way it's looking right now, I might make a few more dollars... I want it to be fair for everybody, and you fought through. If it picks up to where I'm making a substantial (substantial to me at this point is $20+) then I might not say anything about sniping... I want you to have a good chance of what you want as much as everybody else. I take it work tomorrow is hampering you from staying up? That was my biggest worry about a sunday end time...

Yeah, I have plenty lol. Zombie Survival Guide is a funny/serious take on what you should actually do if zombies invade us.

World War Z. A diary book, like "Day by Day", but taken from the stories of multiple individuals instead of just one.

Cell. This is hit or miss with some people. I really enjoyed it. It's extremely suspenseful, but also takes the zombie genre to a different level. It's about Cell phones messing with peoples minds and making them become psycho-paths. It's told from the perspective of one person, but it is pretty good if you can get past the stupid idea of cell phones turning people into zombies. It's a Stephen King book too btw.

There are a few others, but those were my recent favorites. The Stand by Stephen King is also really good for Post-Apocalyptic non-zombie books. Probably one of the best out there in that genre. Downside is that its 1000+ pages long...

No I don't work tomorrow, but I'll be out of town, and it'll be hard to get to a computer quietly as is, much less at 1am. I'm contemplating maximizing my bids right now and ignoring it until tomorrow morning(and crossing my fingers), but I haven't decided yet.

I really don't end up reading as much as I wish to, but I did just pick up Grotesque [ http://www.amazon.com/Grotesque-Natsuo-Kirino/dp/1400044944 ] at Goodwill for $2.99 on the way down, and I'm really excited to read that one... I'm more into stuff like that, to be honest... Creepy, odd, messed up books... The End of Alice, Choir of Ill Children, The Teratologist (haven't read yet, but will soon!), Song of Kali, The Cannibal Within, Suffer the Flesh... A lot of those I'm still trying to get my hands on, but it gives you an idea.

Take your time deciding, if you need to do some explaining to the wife, I'll just PM a message you can read to her :D Hahaha
The hell with it Turtle Power!!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Original series Season 4 $3.00
Haha, yeah! If I had more Turtles merch lying around, I would have thrown it up.... For the sale... You know what I mean.

Lol. You might just have to do that. She understands Ico and Heroes. It's just everything else.

And Batman1939, unfortunately for yourself, you drew my attention to an item I was unaware was "on the menu". I'll try to stay away from it for you though.

I think I'm in an either-or situation with Ico and Heroes, so I might have to stay up tonight.

Choose wisely :D

Both options are great, with wonderful payoff, but which is more important, is the question.

Well, we're nearing the five hours left mark, and it's going fairly slow. I think I'm not going to use the $1 minimum bid for the last 30 minutes rule, which I feel kinda bad about, but I guess I should worry about getting as many items out as possible. I guess the best way to avoid sniping is just bid the highest amount you want to go with, which is definitely hard sometimes, because who doesn't want cheap stuff? With that said, hopefully these last few hours go a little bit better than the past few... Haha
I need these to educate my son on the power of turtles.
If I wouldn't have told our bassist to just take all my Turtles action figures, I definitely would have had a large lot of them... My mistake... His gain... First a free Game Gear and then a free pile of Ninja Turtles... He's taking away valuable revenue!

We're getting closer and there's been quite the slowdown! Don't be afraid to only bid $1 on the items with no bids, there's still lots of great items for great prices! $17 for RE5!??! That's about $20 cheaper than it is here used!!
(PS3) Resident Evil 5 - 17.50

Resident Evil 5- 18
Updated! Keep em coming guys!
Where's everybody at?
No clue man, it's barely hanging on. I'm thinking you don't have much left to worry about! Haha, hopefully there'll be a few more bids, but we shall see.

Bout an hour and 20 min to go, I believe.

Take it easy, phoenix. The man loves big boobies. Just like us all.

This place should be bumping with bids right now. Come on guys, where's the love for Vulgarism?

Blame Strell, he broke my PayPal account. :D

Still got some money reserved for a couple select items.
$18.50 for RE5? Dude, I stood in line for that game release night, and I still play it more than anything else in my collection.
Yeah, it's a damn fine game, I gotta say. Some insanely fun boss battles, and wonderful level design for the first half. The second half is very Resident Evil WTF :D

Too kind, man, too kind. It's looking like you're gonna be the highest bidder as a whole, as well, so you'll probably grab the five freebies. I'll do my best to throw in some decent stuff. Thanks for sticking through, the whole time, dude.

Ah what the hell. I will throw some bids on your stuff.

Stranglehold $1.50
Turtles Season 4 $3.50
Devil May Cry 4 Artbook $2.50
