On a side note, I realized how much our country sucks at life, or at least math. Some of my friends (seniors) are taking calculus this year, and apparently some exchange student from Russia is in their class, bored with everything they're doing.
... And he's 15.
*head explodes*
that's nothing compared to the arrogance I had to go through in my Honors Contemporary America class. We had a round table debate about American influence in the Saddam Hussein Trial, and I, being a good little student and finding as much criticism about the trial as possible, had to play devil's advocate for the rest of the class, essentially taking Saddam's side.
Wasn't too hard though, considering most of their arguments never stretched beyond "We need to teach Iraq how to hold a proper trial!" (because as we all know, the new government is made up of uneducated children), "America is like a big brother to the rest of the world. We need to be a positive influence!" (because there is absolutely no corruption or problems in our country's government system), or "Why didn't we just shoot Saddam? Who would care?" (because the entire trial may have been the only praise America has received in the entire

ing war. I should add that the dumbass student teacher couldn't answer this)
Once again, honors class. Future leaders of America right here people
