Just got home from the G Love and Special Sauce show. It was ok at first and then it just got kind of corny. The good news is, I'm home by myself for another 13 hours or so (and I know that sounds like something a teenager would say, but I don't give a shit). They invited the "Special Guests" lead singer to come sing and he was lamer than G Love was. Whatever though, something to do while I'm wasted for a switch.

Oh and I got the job at UPS starting Monday :D. * High Five *

Playing the Xbox360 tonight for the first time confirms my purchase. Now to find one at a good price.

Out of all the emo recently, this is probably the most depressing. To know that: 1) Someone was desperate enough to break that thing to wash their clothes and 2) It was the highlight of Frisky's day. I'm just saying...

Just realized how far passed 2000 posts I am. I was keeping tabs for a little while but then just forgot for about a week and I got like 100 posts logged. I must be getting lamer by the seconds.

Same here, I still have a gamecube, and I'm probably just gonna get the 'cube version but I feel strangely compelled to go out and get a Wii and Zelda maybe Excite Truck as well (that's a pretty strong might though). There isn't a single other Wii game that interests me, in the least though. On the other hand I wanna drop about $100 on Black Friday for some of those sub-$20 360 games in addition to Seinfeld S7 coming out... Decisions, decisions.

Ehh... I wouldn't bother with Excite Truck, after reading the GameSpot review. It has the "this is a tech demo" syndrome, it seems.

I really wanted Red Steel, too... but the GameSpot review wasn't too favorable.

(GameSpot are the only team of reviewers I invest any trust in.)

I might try to get a Wii next week, though. Really want that Zelda, even if the Wiimote functionality seems tacked on. (Hopefully that "tacked on" feeling will fade away as developers get used to the technology)

I'm with you... though the promise of downloadable content in the future is intruiging, I can't stand the idea of playing through the whole zelda game using the wiimote... if nintendo hadn't taken out the gamecube controller functionality, I'd be at walmart or bestbuy looking for a wii right now. (Reminds me of them and not releasing the DS Lite in black. I waited and waited, and now I don't care to get one, I've lost interest. Anyway...)

I can say about the only other game that interests me on the wii currently is trauma center. Besides, we haven't even heard from tanuki about N:GNT4 yet (I know some of you don't care, but when I go through that much trouble to import such a great game, I want to know it's going to work on the system which would replace my gamecube.)

Looks like I'm stuck with the cube version of Zelda as well. Though, I have to say I would have liked to have gotten a Wii. I'm interested in hearing about whether or not imports work because I also have Naruto GNT 4 and a couple of other Japanese games.

But on the bright side of not getting a Wii at launch, waiting until Nintendo ships the other colors, which we all know is coming, isn't so unbearable now. :lol:
 
Man, I've got quite a backlog of MST episodes to watch. Maybe I'll do a Thanksgiving marathon like in the olden days.
 
Wii Sports Bowling is quite possibly one of the greatest games I have ever played.

Got my Wii this morning at 7 got it all hooked up and started playing at 8. I bought Zelda, but the last 3 hours have all been Wii Sports. 2 1/2 hours of it have been Bowling.
 
I just watched the PS3 power on intro on Youtube and it really makes me want a ps3. Who knows, with this new job, I might have one before the month is out. I guess I need to pick which console is best for me.

Any photogs here? At what megapixel count will digital cameras equal the resolution of film? Or have they already? I'd like a nice digital camera, but I don't feel like shelling out until it's as good or better than film, quality-wise.

I think I'm going to wait on this 360 amazon deal and if I can't get my grubby little paws on one of those I'll go after a PS3 or a Premium 360. Those will get used more often than a Wii would in my home.
 
I'm suporised we haven't heard a Wii report yet. must be playing.

I sent CheapyD a note that The CagOMAtic hasdn't been updated in three days. He's too busy playing his PS3. :p

Lol atleast note that I stated I would have to look at which console is best for me and then later said it was either going to be a 360 or a PS3. I'm not going to go out and buy a console because it has one nifty little thingy. Like whoever it was who said being able to turn off each console remotley would be a big selling point. Seriously? And the guy who said custom soundtracks is the best feature for new consoles is pretty lame. Why would you pay 600 dollars for a system and 60 bucks per game just so you can listen to the music you already have. Not that either of those two features aren't niffty little things but whatevar!
 
okay FIRST of all for thoes of u out ther who say the palystatin 3 is too expansive, cnosider this intriging fact. a huose costs way moe than a psthree and there are hundrads of houses in te world but the guy at Toys Are Us says there are only like 80 ps3rees MAX! toatal! that means the play3 should cost more than a house but ti actually costs slightley less. WHAT A DEAL THIS IS when you think abuot it!!! supafly and demand, folks. it is simple echonomics and you are raeping the rewards[
