!!! if you're gonna hoard, please give the location as well. oh yeah, you're also a jackass !!!

update 03/08: i know its hard to find these, but if anyone could buy some and resell to cags, it would be very helpful. please remember that you're doing this not to profit from a fellow cag, but to help out. so the usual cost+shipping/handling+paypal fee.

Well that's disappointing. I've been eyeing the display at my local sticks wal-mart for MONTHS now. The bundles stayed at $25 the whole time. Virtually -none- of them were selling, the display looked the same as it did on Christmas. Today I went there and the entire thing was gone. I asked an employee and he said they were moved back to storage for the next holiday season.

No clearance for me.

Mine don't seem to be going any lower than $20. They moved them out of the glass case a week or two ago and hung them on one of those security rods that the controllers and stuff are usually on.

I guess $20 is the magic pricepoint, because they've been steadily decreasing in number each time I've checked. It's down to about 2 or 3 now.

So much for cheap points.

was at south des moines walmart today, saw an endcap full of the bundles. classic controllers and glove were $15, cc glove and wii points card were $15, and the wii mote and case were $45. they had a decent amount left of each, they've been at $15 for quite a while now.

I'm in eastern KY, and none of the Wal-Marts I've been to have had any of the deals.. They've got the merch, but it's still the regular prices. Anyone got any extras they'd sell?

Walmart in Coon Rapids, MN has the Classic Controller and the 2000 Points packs for $12 each. No sight of the Nunchuck or Wiimote packs. The Maple Grove and Elk River Walmarts also have the packs but not discounted yet, also no Nunchuck or Wiimote.
Full price at Cartersville, GA, and both locations in Acworth, GA. If anyone sees discounts at any other cities in the NW Atlanta area, let me know.
The Cartersville store last night (3/7) did have the 2,000 point card/classic controller glove combo for $20 (same price as the card itself). Not a huge discount, but if you're in the area and need 2,000 points, that's at least a free controller glove for you.

Oh, and if anyone sees deals on these in the NW metro Atlanta area, please post to let me know. Will reciprocate if I see any deals in the area. I'm hoping to swing by one or both Acworth Wal-Marts tomorrow morning after I pick up Smash Bros. Brawl at the nearby Circuit City.

Thanks for the heads up.

Local walmart had one copy of Wii points and a classic controller glove for $14.99. I was going to get it for the marked price of $24.99 but when he rang it up it came up as $14.99.
I went back to get more, i tried 4 other bundles and all rung up $24.99. So i just ended up getting the $14.99 one.

My Wal Mart (my parent's) had them for $12. I got two of the point/case combos and one classic controller.

Actually...they have a SHIT TON.

They took down the display at mine. They never dropped down to these prices either. Wal-mart also sent back all of the strategy guides they had there. There were some pretty good guides there, and it's a shame they never dropped in price the whole time they were there. >_

I'm near a Wal-Mart that is sitting on roughly 3 dozen points card, 2 dozen classic controllers and a dozen DS lunch boxes, all in a display near the $5 DVD trough. They REFUSE to budge them from $19.95. I've mentioned to the electronics manger the likilhood that I'll take 10 packs of points cards upon a drop, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. Are they just filling shelf space?
Anyone selling their discounted points cards?

Im near wal mart and it had Classic controller and the 2000 point wii card for 10 bucks each.

So i picked up a 2000 point wii card and 2 classic controllers with glove . I wonder if i should have picked up more.

Seeing as I just happened upon this topic today I need to thoroughly check my walmart though I don't think they have anything. I didn't really look at the video games or accessories the last few times I was there though so I couldn't be sure about it at all... That would be a sweet deal if I could find some too. I remember seeing some around Christmas when I went with a friend to wait for a Wii that she was interested in.

Walmart only allots departments so much money for clearance markdowns each month. It's up to the department to determine what to mark down and by how much.

Plus, why are we bumping a 3 month old thread when we have a current Walmart Clearance thread?

My local Walmart (which I go to nearly twice a year, if that ;) ) had the Wii Points/controller glove combo clearanced out at the heart-racing price of....

$18!!!!

sigh. :/

walmart in old bridge, nj hasnt dropped the price. made a trip like two or three weeks ago and they still have it behind the case for the 24.88 price.

i want wii points to buy wii ware =(

Mine still has tons of them. The sign says $19.99, but they scan at $14.99. Still too much for me, but if they drop to $9.99, I'm grabbing up points cards.
