Got my email confirmation that TWD:S2 zombie head will be ready for me in the AM at best buy. Cant wait. I just purchased the full story run off ebay from the comics in the form of mutliple "volumes". I basically STOLE it, had my goofbay sniper set at $100, and I won the whole thing for $46.00 last night. Do you guys think I did alright??

I dunno if you guys can see that auction or not, but its the complete story to date. I could care less (although it would be cool) about having ORIGINAL comics, but trade paperbacks will do just fine for my reading purposes at work.

I think I scored big time on that deal. But thats just me. I figure I paid ".50 cents" a "comic" *yes, I know I dont have the "real" comics - those go for the thousands if complete series*.

I am stoked. I had the first two "volumes" which I will now pass along to another CAG most likely.
 
Its definitely a great deal. It comes out to 45-50 cents an issue, which is awesome. Being the stickler that I am, I'd rather have them all in the same format. I've got the first two hardcovers and plan on getting the rest eventually. I'm up to date though thanks to my brother in law loaning me his monthly's.
 
While I'd prefer the original comics (who wouldn't!) I'm wicked jealous of that. I'm actually ashamed to admit, as a huge comic person I haven't started the series yet because I haven't found a good price for the TPBs and I only have sporadic issues and none of the first ones.
 
you did great.. I have all the published volumes, and I just started collecting the comics from #98 on.. you did pretty good for yourself.. they are quick reads too...
 
Guys thanks for confirming with me on this. I thought I did well, just wanted some other opinions. I know for a fact if I ever sell it (doubtful) that I can EASILY recoup all my money.

I saw a complete volume of trade paper backs for $125 - so I basically think I stole this auction at under $50.

I will be reading this at work. Looking forward to it! Looks like I will have to put down the 3ds XL and PS vita for about a month :)

Going to Best buy to pick up my zombie head season 2 blu ray today. Cant wait for that either.

I WISH I had the trading cards with all the cool chase cards that have their clothing items on them.. god a full set of them commands top dollar.

Anything "walking dead" is not cheap any more. The show is too successful and drove prices up so fast.
 
Awesome deal you got there. After being a huge fan of both the TV show and the game, I finally decided to dive into the comics. Took me no less than 10 sittings to go through all 100 issues. I need to pick up the TPBs now.

He has like 4 floppies only going four months back. They aren't worth any more then the original cover price. Which will still happen to be half his money considering the lot was a good deal.

Not a flippable deal unless you nickel and dime. Remember the TPB's on amazon are not even like $8 bucks a trade New. So used is a good discount from new price.

No one but a fool would order recent comics on ebay. Considering every comic online dealer still has stock of walking dead 1st print runs going back four months for cover price.
 
^^^ yeah I am a keeper of things :) These will go right next to my 30 days of nights complete run of TPB's.

Cant wait to get reading on this. I have the 1st and 2nd tpb, and thats it.
 
I just mean you can sell the floppies back on ebay and you have yourself enough money to buy two more trades of WD or whatever. Just a suggestion.

Since we're talking bang for buck here.....
