Man, to whomever hung the wallpaper in my bathroom, you!

Remodeling the master bathroom. It is the only room with this ugly brown wallpaper, and getting the backing and adhesive off is a pain in the rump.

Hopefully getting the rest of it down today, and painting behind the toilet, and installing the new toilet.

Will get around to painting the rest of the room sometime next week.

Are you using a steamer to take the wallpaper off? It still sucks but it makes it bearable.

I used just hot water and vinegar. Well, I used some Goo Gone first, but that only picked up the paper itself. I've found that hot water and vinegar (or heck, hot water and a rough sponge) was the BEST for removing the old backing paper and adhesive.

Bathroom is done -- I ended up spending about 6 afternoons on it (kid had to be gone at sitter's for me to work on bathroom). Not too shabby.
