Walmart $10 Games YMMV

Hi all, I searched for this and didnt find anything, so please dont flame. I went to my local Walmart yesterday (La Habra, CA) and found they had a bunch of $10 games. They were just stacked on a rack next to the eletronics checkout. Some of the more interesting games included (sorry, biased towards 360 b/c thats what I was really looking at):

Devil May Cry 4 - Collectors (360)
Sega Rally Revo (360)
Kane and Lynch (360)
The Simpsons (360)
Too Human (360)
Fracture (360)
Skate (360)

Afro Samurai (PS3)
Lair (PS3)

Trackmania DS (DS)

Hope this helps some people. There was a LOT of games out there. I'm thinking about going back and taking a more through look (my wife was rushing me).

Thanks I might have to check out my local Walmart tomorrow after picking up Ghostbusters to see if they have any $10 games.
 
dmc4 CE is a steal at that price! I got mine for 30 on amazon a couple months ago when they were clearing their stock out.
 
I was just looking for DMC today. I'll swing by later, I guess, but I never have too much luck when it's YMMV.
 
I'll snag TrackMania for $10 if they have it. Guess I'll be stopping there tonight as an excuse to get some Boneless BBQ Chicken chunks...

I search 'walmart $10' and this is the results...there's like 6 on page 1...the other 20 must have been merged into the WALMART YMMV THREAD

I was in the Wal-Mart near me the other day and looked, and there were a few $10 games, but they were all complete and utter crap not even worth noticing.

Thanks OP, i went to that store today in hopes of Lair for 10, really wanted to get it back. Sadly, no lair, no afro samurai. I ended up with Civ Revolution and Ferrari Challange for 10 a piece. Was only interested in PS3 games. Thanks again!
 
shadowkast, I just typed in "walmart $10" into the search and didnt get all that. Perhaps I'm search incompetent... if its a repost, I apologize and mod please merge with the other posts.

Oddly enough, this isnt the "typical" clearance rack. This was a special white mobile cart full of newer games (not the sucky ones on the black end caps). Hopefully everythings not gone by now, I didnt get a chance to go back today...

Don't worry about him, the rest of us clearly appreciate it.

I just got back from two Wal-Marts and, not surprisingly, there was absolutely nothing on clearance, but I did get Stand by Me and My Bloody Valentine/April Fool's Day out of the DVD bin, so it wasn't a total loss. They also had the Ghostbusters box set for $9.

A few Walmarts around here have been selling games for $10 for a few months now. None to my knowledge were with picking up (at least IMO) but I saw copies of LOL (DS) and Teenage Zombies (DS) among other titles not worth it.

Though there were some for $20 like Sambo de Amigo (Wii) and NiGHTS (Wii). I think I saw COD3 for the original Xbox too. It's pretty much whatever is left in the back they're trying to get rid of I think.

Sorry OP....just alot of these $10 walmart posts popped up twice a day for awhile...don't take my venting and ranting personal...no hard feelings??? ....hey, I bumped it for everyone
 
Looks like they are getting ready for a mid-year inventory.

BTW, this is the only Walmart in the Southland that I have ever found any type of deals.
 
Went to two Walmarts today in SoCal and one had The Bigs (PS3), Mass Effect (PH), Sonic Secret Rings (Wii), Mortal Kombat Kollection (PS2), and Bully (PS2) for $10. The other one had the same games for 19.99. Go figure

Its a fine line. The combo threads have their place, but they are big and unweildy, i dont check them often and it becomes a big pain in the butt to figure out where you left off. Unless the mega thread has someone updating the first post im just not interested.

A post like this makes it easier to get a heads up on something that might be worth checking out. In this case its actually local to me.
OP, check out the walmart in Santa Fe Springs on telegraph (about a 15 minute drive from la habra. They have a similar white rack that has pull out shelves for easy searching. i found kindgom hearts 2 for ps2 for $10, grabbed it for my 60gb ps3.

Yeah, I agree completely. I hardly bother searching through MASSIVE YMMV threads, cause in the time it takes to find something worthwhile? I probably could pay full price and make up the difference in time not wasted! :roll:

But how bout AREA-SPECIFIC threads? I live in IL, so it'd be nice if there were an IL thread...

Well, then again... posting u found something in a SPECIFIC LOCAL STORE usually means it'll leak to other sites like SD, and HOARDERS will take everything. :bomb: That's why I try NOT to report on SPECIFIC store... :cry:

Nice haul. Do they have anything left? Anything for 360?
 
They had a lot (fresh stock) as of last post. Don't know what they have now. I figured it's better to give a heads up for CAGers before it ends up on other sites anyways. Last I saw they had a good amount of games for all systems. Original Sony PS2 controllersfor $10 too

thank OP for the heads up. i too hate thumbing through all the BS in the "consolidated" post. they didnt have anything all that great at my local walmarts. picked up buzz jr. with the 4 buzzers for $10 for the kiddos. not to shabby i guess.
 
Picked up Parappa the Rapper PSP today for $9.87 at Johnson City, TN State of Franklin Wally World. Most of the games in the bin were $20 and mostly DS ones.

Yeah, S. Cali. La Habra Walmart off Imperial Hwy. near Beach Blvd. Its literally a white cart right next to the electronics checkout. Paper taped to it saying its all $10. Can't miss it.
 
I've never seen anything good at Walmart for $10. I did go to Walmart.com to check prices on Stranglehold for 360, and they had it for $9.82! So I went to my local Walmart to pick it up and found out at the store it's $19.82, and they don't price match their own website. That being said, I did not buy it from the store...
