i didn't see this posted so sorry if it was

i don't know if this is nationwide but could be.

I was at the walmart in jefferson point shopping center in Fort Wayne, Indiana

They had shrink wrapped 3 packs of Ford Racing 3, Motorcross mania 3 and Power Drone for 10 dollars. More than 100 sets from the looks of it. Not a fabulous buy but the first 2 games are supposed to be decent.

ok they must have just reached this area for some reason as I never saw it here before. oh well.

I searched under the obvious "walmart" and didnt see it in the last 3 pages of posts.
 
My local Walmart has an entire endcap dedicated to these three-packs. If the price went to $5, I might pick up a few, to give away as cheap Xmas gifts. I have a feeling most of them are going to get scrapped.
 
Last year, I used these for some sweet trades at media play in there 3 games for 1 new one.

Picked up Donkey Konga, GTA - San Andreas, Metroid Prime 2

Unfortunately Media Play stopped doing this... and ended all the fun.

I hadn't seen these sets a few weeks ago in the Peru, IL Wal-mart but maybe if we got them they'll be clearanced soon as well. If only EB had one of those trade 5 get free preorder deals...
 
When picking up MK: DS yesterday, I saw a bunch of them right under the games rack. I doubt anyone is going to buy them anyways.

I'm waiting for these to drop into the .25 and under range. I can just see me walking into an EB with a shopping cart full of these. "Hey, is this enough to get a new $40 game?" "....prolly not."
 
Wal Mart caters to people who will buy horribly crappy games because they're cheap. The Wal Mart locations near me never really clearance these 3 packs, I think it's because ole' gramps is buying them for lil' Jimmy as a Christmas present.

Ahh, December is my favorite month. The average IQ of Wal-Mart customers hits the low 30s and it gets so crowded that I can convince the wife to shop for groceries at Kroger.

Nascar Thunder 2002?

I work at a hollywood video in west texas, and oddly enough, this is rented more than the new one. I think all of our copies of the new one are stolen already anyway.

I love Nascar. It really helps me get that Sunday afternoon nap in.

Do any of Nascar games have a minigame where you chuck a half empty beer at your least favorite driver's head? That'd cinch it.
 
I think Power Drome is actually a really good game. Ford Racing 3 is a good game for Ford fans obviously.

The Xbox version is a really good futuristic racer but the PS2 got stuck with a really crappy port of it. The game looks pretty rough, is missing the really cool blur effects when boosting, and worst of all has a pretty horrible frame rate.
 
you could of went over to best buy and got 4 games for 10 bucks using the 5 buck off mcdonald coupon... they had these games in 2 packs for 10 before thanksgiving..

i grabbed 3 sets for 15 bucks..

motor mania 3 / drag racing
mustang/ ford racing 3
high rollers / super trucks

hell i would paid 10 for high rollers so this is like getting the other 5 games for 5 bucks

They were $5 at the Walmart on Randal Road in Elgin Il. There had to be over 100 of them there when I went on the 22nd to get a 360. At that price, I'd be suprised if there are any left after black friday.

Walmart also has ATV Off Road Fury 2, Splashdown and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for $19.99. They were shrink wrapped PS2 games.
 
Does anybody know if these games work in the Hastings trade 4 get 1 deal, or if the deal still exists? I know it used to be trade 3, but after the holidays I thought they raised it back to 4.
