walmart online add for 11/17 to 11/23 is showing the 3DS XL Legend of Zelda system for $199.96 only valid nov 22 & nov 23 

is this a price mistake?

Anyone want ot make a deal on their Digi Download code, I want the game but can't justify spending 40 bucks with a Xbox One coming in the mail >.>"

 
My Walmart seems to be holding them for black friday. She insisted that the date was next thursday.  They also wanted to know where I got the ad.

 
I bought a clear case and it scratched up my 3DS XL pretty bad. Most of the damage is on the back and I used to take it off every once in a while to clean it.

Had to visit 3 different Wal-Marts but finally found the ad which I got price matched at Target plus 5% with the REDcard. $200 bucks on day one with taxes included is fine by me.

That looks like it may work. Do you have one like that? I would have to get one like that made for the 3DSXL, but it looks like what I'm interested in though I wonder if it is easily removed without removing the finish as well.

If anyone has tried this, on the OG 3DS, or the 3DSXL, please post your impressions or experience with it.

Yea, I got mine from Wal Mart despite the incompetent employee's I initially dealt with trying to persuade me away from Nintendo made consoles. I went back after and was easily able to get it, use a $10 eGift Card on it, and walk out with it for around $200 including tax. Pretty happy with the outcome, though the initial employee attempting to persuade me to not buy it and unwilling to help was a bit frustrating.

 
Thanks, I was heading to Walmart anyway for cat litter so was hoping to pick up the Zelda bundle there. Hopefully I have no hassle.

 
I got lucky, the girl I talked to said a guy just called with the same PM request so she did mine in 10 seconds. However I realize minor but she issued a $20 credit, does it calculate and credit tax too? I know when I did a PM before it also included tax. I'm not gonna call for the $2 in tax but just wondered.

No my order history shows a $20 credit and I got an email. They send GC if they can't honor the PM but still want to offer the credit. They actually mailed me a $15 GC once because of it.

 
Ok guys. Just got back. I went to walmart first. The walmart near me is actually one of the largest supercenters in the country. The electronics guy said they only got 4 in stock. I was lucky cause they had 1 left.

Then I went to gamestop to pick up my pre order. Spoke to the people working there. They only got 7

(2 of the 7 pre orders were canceled) 

*Just noticed on my receipt that they did not take off the $25 deposit i made on the 3ds. I still have the receipt and the original receipt showing my deposit. Has anyone encountered this situation before. If i go back in a couple of days will they give me my 25 back or try and force store credit on me?

So now I have 2 Zelda 3ds xl bundles

Waiting on my 3rd one to come in the mail from best buy. I might return that one since they promised a price match on the phone then didnt do it.

 
My net was down and I went out to attempt to price match at TRU, but they only searched for the Zelda 3DS on their site which lists $219.96 and since it was shown in the weekly ad and I had no idea, I just went back to Walmart to get it :/

Apparently they didn't put them out at Walmart, but I asked when I went there first to try to find the ad which they didn't have, of course...
(they said they only had 4 in stock at the San Leandro Walmart on Davis.. and I guess mine makes it at least 3)

I called Best Buy this morning to try to get the price match instead of having to wait to see if the Best Buy store I was picking it up at would give me hassles. The guy put me on hold a few times, but in the end told me that I would need to pick it up before they did any adjustments. I decided to just to go to Walmart and pick it up after checking online to make sure they had it at the store nearby. I drove there, bought it without a hassle (they had about 10 or so left), and canceled my Best Buy order.

Thanks for nothing, Best Buy.

 
I was able to pricematch this at Target.  The Target I went didn't even put the Zelda 3ds on display.  I was the first to ask for it and they finally took out two hugh boxes, at least 50 of them.  There was another guy there and he wanted one as well.  I told cashier about the pricematch and the cashier escorted both of us to the guest services.  I had to help the girl look out the sale on the tablet and got the pricematch no problems.  I guess the other guy got lucked out since I was there to pricematch this.  Anyway, total was $206 and some change after using my red card.  SCORE!!!!  :bouncy:

I got the digital code for Zelda and the digital prima guide for $40.

I just ended up buying at BB with Reward Certificates. Does anyone think they will post price match?

 
went by my wal-mart at midnight to try and just pick up a system, lady working that department said they were still waiting on a truck order. next available option was to grab the weekly ad and sleep on it, but they didn't have any. went by another, and at least walked out with the ad.

tl;dr I nabbed a Walmart ad and PM'd at Best Buy flawlessly. I was buying this regardless, so thanks for saving me $20!!

I just bought one of these. This is my first nintendo portable. Quick question and thanks in advance for any answer: If I buy a class 10 SD card with 64GB of Space will this machine support it?

Picked my up at BB at midnight along with my Xbox One.  They price matched it for me also got to price match Swap Force & Infinity for $37 as Walmart is doing the pre-Black Friday sale. I also wanted to have them PM XB1 games for $49 but with my RZGamer membership it's less w/ the 20% off new games.  They won't stack... :( Lucky to the one who PM it at TRU and got a free $19.99 game.

 

 
Nintendo should have another price cut for xl and 3ds. Seems like they only get to sell these when theres a new special edition or something. Got my pikachu at walmart via target price match last march and that was one awesome deal i ever got. Now, i im thinking of getting another xl but in my gut i always feel that paying $199+ is never gona be a good buy for me anymore. Its gona be $159.99 or bust. Hehe
 
I cancelled my BB pre-order after attempting to get a PM by calling CS. Today, I swung by my local Target with the Walmart ad and was able to easily PM to the Walmart price. I'll be canceling my GS in-store pre-order.

They were sold out at the local Walmart so I grabbed the ad, pmed at the Best Buy in Pinole, CA without hassle. They did have to pull it from the back since none were out on the floor. Thanks Op!

Not officially I don't think (I think Nintendo says max is 32 GB), but from what I've found, people have been able to get larger ones working.

Not known, but people are thinking no, b/c the XL's on sale don't have anything bundled with them (game wise).

I went to Best Buy at lunch and had no problem PM'ing with ad. They had maybe 6 or 7 of them on the floor.

 
So I have my Zelda 3DS XL and am transferring from my old red 3ds.  I had no idea the system transfer would have pikmin running around transferring my data.  Hilarious.

Best Buy price-matched walmart just fine, I sold my Zelda code off to a friend, and picked up my preorder for Zelda physical copy no problem!

System is transferring then I'll add the Oracle of Seasons.  Just realized I didn't get the code for preordering at best buy though (the ages code)

 
Had to cancel my BB Online in-store pick up in order to price match at Best Buy but other than that it went smoothly. I'm just debating weather to use the DL code or gift it and get a physical copy. I know there is a WiiU/3DS sale going on at Toys R Us but they are a pain to get to in my area.

 
Went in to Target, they looked up Walmart.com Holiday Prep ad and price matched to $199.96 and got another 5% off with the red card. Sweet deal since you basically save $40 as that is the price of the new Zelda game.

Now to cancel my Best Buy pre-order

I used to love going to that Best Buy! I camped out for the Xbox 360 there and picked up Guitar Hero 1 there on release day when no one else have even stocked it. The In and Out Burger across the street doesn't hurt either.

 
So is this in-store only? Any chance of BBY or even Walmart's own website price matching the ad online?

I got the hori clear case for my blue xl, its two separate pieces that snap on and is very easy to remove, plus there's no bulky hinge.
I've had it since I first bought my xl over a year ago and don't have any scratches or scuffs. It snaps on tight and doesn't move at all when opening/closing it. I had to import it from play-asia because for whatever reason hori doesn't sell them in the US, they're a little pricey but well worth it. If you do decide to import it make sure you get the pc (poly carbonate) and not the tpu.

People asking about clear case you need a skin in between or it will scratch. Most cases won't fit after applying a skin though. A full body skin is enough to keep your 3ds mint.

I use one from skinomi. All my consoles and handheld have skins from them.

Went to ToysRUs hoping to get the free game too but they say they stopped pricematching walmart 2 weeks ago! Anyone else heard of this?
 
amazing how no one was really helpful with this deal the whole week and now that its live, everyone is chiming in with their stories about whether they got one or not. no one cares.

I haven't had any luck with the price matching. I went for my online pick up and brought the ad and they said since my card was charged they told me to call Customer service for a price adjustment. I called twice, the first girl said she couldn't do it becuase I didn't pay at the time of purchase and the second girl said they don't price match at Walmart. I'm really fed up.I'll probably return it tomorrow and try rebuying it at the lower price. I don't think I'll be pre-ordering at Bestbuy anymore.

Huh? the deal is pretty straightforward if you buy from Walmart in-store. Now if you want to pricematch with a different retailer, that is always YMMV. Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays on Friday. :rofl:

All those people were correct expect the second dumb dumb that claimed they don't price match Walmart. The first girl likely meant PM at time of purchase not pay.

You should have canceled the pickup, and just purchased and PMd right there.

You need to PM within 14 days if Best Buy's price dropped. You can only PM others at the time of purchase. Online orders, you deal with their phone CS. Store orders/purchases, the store CS.

Some people get lucky and get a phone CSR that either doesn't know stuff (which helps the customer) or is willing to make expections to keep/get a BB sale.

Thanks for letting me know, I normally don't shop a lot at BestBuy. Maybe I can return and repurchase it tomorrow there at the lower price. If not I'll just go get it at Walmart or Target.
