I wanted to preorder Pokemon Platinum on Walmart.com but if I preorder it now, will it ship on March 22 (the release date), or before it comes out? I don't order stuff online that much so I wouldn't know.
 
I think, not I'm not totally positive, that preorders from walmart arrive on the release date.

I pre-ordered let the right one blu ray the other day which comes out march 10 and it said the est. delivery date/should arrive on mar 10.
 
Thanks, that's helpful. The only problem is that is says on this page, "Preorder this item today and it should ship on 03/22/2009." So that leads me to believe I won't get it on the release date.

March 22 is a Sunday. IMHO, your best best is to pre-order online at GameStop.com and pick up in your local store.

Disclaimer: I work for said GameStop and might be a bit biased. ;-)

I preordered Batman Begins on Blu-Ray from them with 2-3 day shipping, and got it 5 days before the street day. Then when I preordered the Dark Knight on Blu-Ray with regular shipping, I got it a week after the street day.

So, who knows when you will get it from Walmart.com.
