So I was browsing all retailer sites trying to find some 360 and DS games, and I just decided to check out the link. Without hesitation I signed up for the newsletter hoping to get a confirmation or a "we will not be preselling PS3s" message. Nothing has come to my inbox yet. Will post back if something comes in.
I talked to the guy in electronics at my local store and he said they weren't and the site wouldn't hold back any systems. Then again, in the same conversation he told me that most of the systems were designated for Europe and Japan (I laughed quietly) and that Sony was marking up the PS3s for a profit (yet another forbidden chuckle)
# Anyway, my friends who work at TRU also didn't know about Wii/PS3 preorders until yesterday.
Here's to hoping I can preorder online for an in-store pickup.
