Walmart Price Match

Hey cheap asses. I saw on the news this morning that Walmart announced that they will price match any competitors' ad on Black Friday. Just wanted to share that info in case it hadn't already been posted. Sorry if this post is in the wrong forum. . . .later. . . . .

True... but a wrong price is a wrong price... union or non-union... be careful...

Just a note: You DO NOT have to have the ad to get a price match.

Now, not all stores follow this, but it -is- in the cashier training. However, if it's something that's on huge sale (used to be $99, now $39 or so), might want to have the ad just in case.

But that's true for Wal-Mart in general. They'll always price match.

When I read this last night http://today.reuters.com/investing/FinanceArticle.aspx?type=marketsNews&storyID=URI:urn:newsml:reuters.com:20051122:MTFH08351_2005-11-22_01-26-35_N21308124:1 I thought they were crazy. Then I thought they are being smart as the first retailer to offer this and have the whole ad at www.walmart.com online way before BF. I hope other retailers will do the same since this will be beneficial not only for them, but especially for us:D What does everybody else thinks of this?

My point was that I put no faith in the validity of the studies.
