Walmart to have Wii's on Dec. 6 at 12:01

I'm so close to giving up on getting a Wii anytime soon. I have all this money and I have to hold on to it for something I don't know if I'll be able to get. It's so hard when there's all these new games coming out that I could buy, but I can't if I want to buy a Wii. Seriously, I could buy Castlevania, Yoshi's Island, Mario vs. DK, EBA, AC, FF3, and Bully. OR I can continue to get pissed off at the shortage. Are any others on the edge of giving in?
 
My walmart got 27 wiis. I got there around 4:45am and was about the 10th person in line. They were all sold out of Zelda, though, so I got it and another walmart.
 
It's not impossible, just expensive and/or time consuming. If you don't want to get in line earlier than everyone else, then it's not their problem. And generally it's not an overwhelmingly long wait.

Hey, he's not bitching about people simply for waiting, but for buying multiple Wii, some to sell, one to keep.

Also factor in that currently, ebayers are paying $375-425 for the system, it's not like being robbed blind for a PS3.

Yeah, well, proportionally speaking, people at this point are actually paying a higher premium for Wii auctions than the PS3 listings. It's pretty much the same type of extortion, regardless.

So how exactly did he keep you from pre-ordering a system? I don't agree with what he's doing either but it's not his fault you didn't plan ahead.

I was joking. I am trying to find a Wii for my sister, but I don't care how many Wiis this dude buys. It's not the end of the world if she has to wait until next year.

And I would GLADLY show up alittle early but around here all the stores are getting the Minimum every time. On December 3rd yer place got 30 right? My Target got THREE. And people were there like 4 hours before they opened. And I have to drive 30 minutes just to get to some place that stocks Wii.

I've heard the same rumor you have, apparently.

I heard Target and TRU on Sunday morning.

But haven't gotten confirmation of that, and haven't seen their flyers as of yet, either.

I'm not looking to hard, either, since I have my Wii already. But I am looking, just to help out those still in need.
 
yeah im looking to pretty hardly i called target yesterday they gave me the uh duh huh what excuse. and the "i dont know" on the next shipment

Yup, that's what I eventually found out (others posted it elsewhere). It's NEXT weeks flyer that should have something in it for TRU and Target (maybe Walmart, too).
