Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

That Nikon was a bust. Went to a store that BS said was $99 but limited stock. Was told by the electronics DM that they don't sell it in the store. Seemed extremely annoyed. Went to another associate that had a scanner, she scanned the Brickseek barcode for the item. Came up as $99 on the app and limited stock. She gave me the excuse that it was probably seasonal like black friday and the system just never removed it. Nobody bothered looking for it.

I mean, Limited Stock on something like that in my experience means it was possibly a floor model, and usually means the store is down to 1 left if any, given walmart's inventory tracking history not surprising if it was mia

Where do you find stores with these prices? The past few days people are posting electronic prices that are super low. I check dozens of stores over several states, that don't exist. Are you paying for BS premium, where one out of 10,000 stores has that price?
If you pay for Brickseek then you get access to the pricing records page that shows you the national list of stores and their price that the site is currently aware of (the data updates when people scan their zipcode). When I link BS I always check the pricing records page first and use the lowest In Stock pricing as the price to put in the thread, rather than just posting the lowest price that isn't even available anywhere

Thank you. So searching that way can still produce results where one in a million stores have the item in stock? Lately it seems a waste to even check the links, particularly to electronics.

Remember that Cuisinart 5.5 blender posted last month? I've hunting one down, most stores had it for $70, though one store shows a high quantity of it in stock yet they cannot find the inventory.

Just checked this link and dozens of stores, only shows as MSRP everywhere.

Would it be simple for people to post the state or locale where these crazy low prices are? It feels like a needle in a haystack.
the minnesota store I referred to is

Walmart Supercenter #3761
1755 Highway 59 S
Thief River Falls MN 56701

it is the only store BS knows of that is at $99 atm, deep deals like that tend to be pretty isolated

Guess I just don't understand why it would be a huge deal to have another specific area for general merchandise deals...oh, wait...hmmm.

But seriously, I will say it's always disappointing when I see this topic at the top of the page and of course I hope we're about ready to start another nice round of clearance...and...yeah...nope. However, when the greater community speaks, they speak, and it seems we're mostly ok having non-gaming deals in the gaming section as opposed to the non-gaming section. I'm more of a stickler for organization but I can understand the convenience of having it all in one place.
It’s not just disappointing, it’s annoying.

Why the fuck am I looking at deals on tires and Oreos in the video games section? Go post that shit in non-gaming deals.

I feel the same way when someone bumps the thread to whine about the deals others are posting.

edit: a screenshot, I have paid Brickseek, it's entirely possible it is not showing you the deal if you don't

I imagine it's gonna get a restock tbh, it's not retailer exclusive and I think the original 1.5 and 2.8 releases got superceded by it

Idk if it will but the few stores I'm seeing that show stock only have like 2 onhand. With KH III being recently released I doubt they'll restock this one.

KH3 coming out is a great reason for them to release more, since it's the reason people are buying it
