Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

I was in my Walmart last night and they had a $30 tag on it. Wonder if it'd ring up $20

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III $30.00
Final Fantasy XVI $20.00 (out-of-stock on shelf)

Haven’t seen anything in the longest time at my Walmarts. These are two different locations. Seems they’re possibly ditching the yellow clearance stickers?? FYI.

I wouldnt say ditching they are the normal prices not clearances. Jedi been $20 since December everywhere and FF16 been $25. Now I guess they are dropping the prices even more now. So as said they arent clearances they are normal or sales. My Jedi showed rollback at one walmart but normal tag elsewhere.

Went to my local store today and they put all of their physical PC games on clearance (among other things). Most of the games were those jewel case sized point-and-click mystery games. They did have some bigger games though. From the top of my head- ReCore: DE, a Plants vs Zombies game, Anthem, and some Sims 4 packs.

They also had a bunch of movies on clearance. Most of them were direct-to-cable movies and C-movies. Most were DVDs, but there were also Blu-rays and the occasional 4K movie. The only killer deal I had to get was the Wandavision 4K Steelbook for $25 and change.

Picked up yesterday:

Dave the Diver (Switch) - $15
Stray (PS5) - $10
Funko Fusion (PS5) - $15

Picked up a couple weeks ago:

Dragon's Dogma 2 (PS5) - $25

Saw the following markdowns at my local Wal-Mart:

Arcade 1Up
Rollbacks

Arcade 1Up Riser $29
Pac-Man Classic $225
Ms. Pac-Man Classic $225
Mortal Kombat Legacy $225

PS5
PS VR2 $449.00 (Clearance)

PS4
WWE 2K24 $15
Assassin's Creed The Eizo Collection $10
Farcry 5 $10
Mortal Kombat 11 $10
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands $10
Injustice 2 Legendary Edition $10
Nickelodeon Kart Racers $10
Paw Patrol Grand Prix $10
Spongebob Squarepants Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated $10
EA Sports UFC 4 $10

I also noticed a price tag format change at this local Super Wal-Mart (something I've never seen before) they began adding those electronic price tags to the shelf on various electronic items (but not video games) similar to the ones seen at Best Buy.

The wait paid off. One of my local stores dropped Wo Long PS5 to $10. Only had 1 copy, but probably worth taking a look. Seems like Rise of the Ronin has been on sale more than Wo Long. Didn't see anything else good under $15.

Damn, I'd love to see that Skyrim Switch around me for that! Wanted to get one for my husband's Switch collection since that's his style of game.

Saw for :switch:
Ori Will of Wisps $20
TMNT Mutants Unleashed Deluxe $30
Death's Door $20

I would grab Death's Door. It's out of print and becoming harder to find and the price of it has surged on the secondary market. I bought a couple of copies off of a seller on Mercari about a year ago I believe and I think it was just in time because the price subsequently went up not long after. Anyway I can't recall ever having seen it at any Walmarts around here though so I find that one a bit surprising.
