Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Found a decent spot here in Houston at 13484 Southwest Fwy. Picked up around 20 games there on Sunday. The highlights:

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX - $8

Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale XB1 - $8

Stardew Valley XB1 - $5

Sonic Lost World Wii U - $5

Lego Jurassic World XB1 - $5

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2 3DS - $5

They have a ton left... it's an entire endcap full of games.

Visited Lake San Marcos, CA this weekend to celebrate the one-year anniversary w/ my wife and we stopped by a Walmart nearby to get snacks for the trip back home. Couldn't resist checking out the electronics section, and although they had no deals for video games, they had quite a few SanDisk Cruzer Dial CZ57 flash drives for $5. Both the 32GB and 64GB sticks were the same price, and they had quite a selection of colors as well, so if you're looking for cheap flash storage that might be an easy way to go. I'm providing (I THINK...) the link of the model I got, but as I mentioned, they had multiple colors and capacities available.

Looks like I'll have to check the Walmart by my house because it says they have a couple at $1. Can't pass that up

Just bought Twilight Princess WiiU w/amibo for $20, World of Final Fantasy PS4 for $7, and Persona 5 PS3 for $5 at my Walmart (Southern Louisiana). They had tons of xb1 games on clearance as well. The lady working said she'd been marking down games all day, and she probably wouldn't stop any time soon.

Everytime I check Brickseek for these deals theres like 1 store in the entire area that actually has that price and is already sold out, while every other store has like 10+ copies still chilling at normal price and the moment they hit that price they are gone before I can even put pants on.

Jackpot boys.

Found this clearanced for $2.

RDS-Industries-Inc-Nintendo-Switch-Game-Traveler-Protection-Pack-2.jpg

I ended up buying all of them (sadly just two).

Can't find the Walmart sku, but here is the Target listing:

Could someone find the Brickseek listing? I was unable to.
Thanks for the Target product page. From that I plugged the UPC into BS's Walmart page and found this link:

Can you confirm that the game cases work for Vita games?

I know you guys are going on about your fancy video games n' what not, but I won. I got the not so fresh baked three meat pizza for $1.51. Now, it had been out for a few hours, so it was basically gas station quality. But it was a big ass pizza for $1.51 and I didn't throw up or anything. Beat that.

Just checked...

Kinf of. It doesn't fit snug in the slot, but it stays very well when closed.

This seems to be a universal price drop, as every store around me has it for $5 now. Except for one store that sells it for $1!!!

Lol nice. My store had it marked at $7, so I thought "sure, I really really lile these" and I was surprised they rang up at $2.

Is the screen protector any good in that? I'd buy that set at the full price just to get one.
Not sure, it wasn't tempered so skip it imo.

I thought it was bad that my local store has been wasting employee time by marking games down by 83 cents and calling it a clearance, but then I went to a store in St Pete that had a bin full of hundreds of games with clearance stickers, and they were all still full price.

Strange, the link you provided sent me to a LoZ BotW specific protection pack, not the generic red one that SephirothWF originally posted. I double checked the UPC in BrickSeek's Walmart inventory checker and I got this link, which shows the originally-claimed $2 price:

New Nintendo Switch Game Traveler Protection Pack - $2

http://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=874580716

Maybe your links got mixed up? I noticed it's the same link for your other post about the PS4 deluxe travel case, as well. I double-checked that product as well, just for thoroughness' sake.

Sony Open Sony Ps4 Dual Shock Deluxe Travel Case - $19.96 => $5

So I decided to stop by a Walmart on my way home from work tonight (Panorama City, CA) and picked up a few games on clearance for decent prices. Nabbed Destiny: The Collection (PS4) for $25, The Last Guardian for $20, No Man’s Sky for $5 and Star Wars: Battlefront Ultimate Edition for $20...not too shabby if I do say so myself. They had some other stuff in their “value games” section, but nothing else that really stood out to me.

On second thought, after uploading the pictures, I probably should have bought the Borderlands collection, the Hitman Steelbook collection for XB1, the Mass Effect games and a few of those other $5 games...might have to go back tomorrow! Hate it when the Walmart employees are rushing you when it’s not even busy in the department...

EDIT: Forgot the BrickSeek links...sorry!

Destiny: The Collection for PlayStation 4 - $59.99 => $25

The Last Guardian (PS4) - $85 => $20

No Man's Sky for PlayStation 4 - $59.96 => $5

Yep, seen SW BF for $10 or less elsewhere and Destiny 1 is dying with 2 out.

But X1 Handsome Collection for $5. That’s a good opportunity there.

Oddly enough I saw the Lego Dimensions power puff girls fun pack on sale for $6.00 not sure why but I think it was the only one on sale too. I didn't get it but was something to mention.

I might have possibly one of the best YMMV deals I've ever had...but I will post tomorrow after I can confirm via picture of the receipt.

This is when living in Southern California is not a benefit for me.  There are a lot of Walmarts but I can never find any cheap clearance prices.

Not as familiar with Walmart clearance. If brickseek shows 7 items in stock and I can’t find any on the shelf is it safe to assume they are gone?

I honestly didn’t see an employee (surprise) and was pressed for time. No other Walmart’s in my area have stock so that’s likely another nail in the coffin.

Dude I live in SoCal, it's just a matter of willing to drive a good amount to different walmarts in the county or within a 10-15 mile radius.

You have to look all over the electronics area. Could be in a box, a bin, on a shelf nearby, etc. Almost never in the regular cabinets discounted.
