Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Sometimes you have to. When the PS4 Pro Destiny 2 bundle showed up for $199 at some stores, there was literally one walmart that showed it in stock for that price, just over 100mi away. I'm not driving two hours per way on the hopes brickseek is correct. I called the store, asked if the item was in stock, and they even offered to hold it for me due to the distance I was traveling.
Okay, in your situation, you definitely call. If it's a long drive like that, it wouldn't really be worth going all the way there to strike out. But if it's something fairly nearby, I don't think I'd chance the call.

I'll have to watch this one, about 10 in the area are down to $550. At $250 i'll bite.
I was considering it but then I read on amazon that the space for a graphic card was really small. As in less than 6 inches? Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Edit read this -

"The power supply is just big enough for a GT 1030 graphics card" And apparently someone was able to install a 1030 card which *just* fit inside.

Huh so maybe it's OK?

It's still $550 near me. If I had a gift card I would go for it.

that is my question as well, as the price no longer seems to adjust online to what brickseek claims it is.
From my experience, the store you're picking up in has to have it in-stock for the adjustment to work. It wont work if brickseek says limited quantities or 0 - limited quantities. I did this when I bought Nioh. Paid around $40 online and when I picked it up in store, had it adjusted to the $10 price it had in store when they had a bunch of copies.

Maybe they're lying, but the stock count in Walmart's system isn't always accurate. I went to a Walmart trying to snag a clearance LG TV, they said they had none, BS showed 2, and many days later it still showed 2. It should have showed 0 by then if they set the TVs aside to buy themselves. So yeah, it does happen.
I can attest this is 100% true. Couple years back, I was looking for Metro Redux PS4 at a great price and went to a Walmart that showed it in stock. Not there. Went to a 2nd one that showed in stock. Not there. Went to a 3rd one. Not there. I eventually spoke to manager of the first store and he told me that is very often an issue with their online inventory (forget the complicated reason) and he apologized. For video games especially, I am still finding Walmart's online in-store inventory to be wrong on a regular basis.

My store had guides for $2 each. I bought the following:

Dark Souls III
Fallout 4
Halo Wars 2
Mass Effect Andromeda
Metroid: Samus Returns
Prey - Collector's Edition
Super Nintendo (for the reissued mini one)

Most of the guides looked like they had been through a wheat thresher. Forget dog-eared pages. They looked like they had been a Doberman's chew toy.
Are all the guides paperbacks except Prey?

Yes. I don't really pay attention to guides, but Prey is the only hardback that I saw. I'm not even sure if this is a strategy guide sale across all Walmarts or not. There is a clearance area near the sewing and craft section at that store that has become a dumping ground for any kind of clearance items. The guides were under some other stuff.

Thanks I may try to find the SKU/UPC on brickseek to check if it's in stock and for $2

What zip code btw?

Somebody hide my wallet!! I just picked up the Harmony remote for $9. Also grabbed the 65" Samsung TV for $549 and a 55" Vizio for $199. Then I grabbed some Mario Sports 3DS games for $16 each at TRU. Threw a $7 Giana Sisters Wii U game in for good measure. Now I just need to get a hold of that Samsung Soundbar.

Which 65" tv would that be?

They went out of stock pretty much instantly at $550. Not sure why people would buy out all the stock at that $550 price, as an i7-8700, 16GB RAM, and 2TB hard drive are $500 (the PSU, mobo, case in this prebuilt are all trash and worth maybe $50 max; you could buy alternative parts for probably an extra $50 and have a better build). Yes I know some people don't want to build their own computer, but I'm just offering a comparison.

At $250 that is an absolute steal though. Even at $400 it would probably be worth it.

which Harmony for $9?

They've been on 24 hours a day every day for months or over a year in some cases. I'd pass unless it was super super super duper cheap. But to each their own. They also seem to usually have a hard time finding stands/remotes/manuals/etc around here for those.
Pay an extra $40 to Square Trade and call it a day

Yep, the one he linked is limited to blu-ray only, this one does anything with an HDMI, so a game system, blu-ray, PC, etc.
Did you buy one and have tried it already? I'm kind of interested in it, but I've seen some bad reviews.

Also, if you've tried it, how do the rear speakers hook up? Do you have to run the cords around the entire room to the receiver?

I haven’t. I just picked it up because it was so cheap. I have a 7.2 setup with a 4K Sony receiver. This one will either be used in a spare bedroom or if family friends want it they can have it, or I might try and trade it on the Facebook marketplace for something else I’d rather have.

4 of those near me for $299. That's a great deal for anyone in the market for a new 4K TV or an extra one.
They are $199 near me. Bought a 50" version (not sure if it's the same model) this time last year for $250, and it works very well. Even works well as a giant 4K computer screen, though gameplay is at 60Hz and not 144 like most monitors.

How reliable is brickseek?  If something says Limited Quantities but says there's 0 in store, what does that mean?  Do I have any shot?

I've often seen that it refers to a display model, when it comes to Walmart, Brickseek is usually wrong over 90% of the time when it comes to clearance for me.

Most monitors are still at 60hz nowadays

Is there any way to get Walmart to do a warranty on an open display model?
As in buy it and apply a warranty or apply one after you buy it?

Do know a display model is sold just like any other item on registers. You can come in with it, say you don't have the box but have the sticker / UPC it was sold with, say it doesn't work and get a replacement.

But isn't it likely if you're buying the display there isn't something to replace it with?
