Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

I had my launch wii brick like many others did due to nintendo's updates. It's more common than you think. It's just not as discussed as the red ring o death or yellow light of death the 360 and ps3 had. People constantly talked about how phat ps3's were super unreliable with high failure rates. It's funny too since I still have my launch phat ps3.

The worst part was how I had so many digital titles on there. Probably close to 200 bucks worth of nintendo points. I got the cards deeply clearanced from the remote and such bundles so I only paid about 3-5$ for 20$ cards.
I never had a 360 fail and my fat PS3 was great I had failures 2 times with the first version of the slim PS3

Most of my game systems have been reliable. I've lost an Xbox 360 (admittedly, it was purchased used), and had issues with a fat PS3 shortly after buying it from someone, but beyond that most of these machines have been real troopers.

In way of illustration, a few years back I bought a GameCube for five dollars from a Goodwill outlet store. It's one of those places where they dump crap into blue troughs, and whatever you happen to find is sold by the pound. (It's not what you'd call a classy establishment.) Anyway, the Cube I got was a mess, with a splatter of sticky brown goo under the drive door. I cleaned it up with paper towels and rubbing alcohol, then connected it to a television set. It worked fine. It still works fine, even after I took it apart and installed a Xeno chip.

Most game systems are pretty reliable, but GameCubes are nearly indestructible. It's like whoever designed them must have gotten an A in that science project where you drop an egg off the roof of a building and package it so it doesn't crack.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
Asura's Wrath (X360)
Grand Slam Tennis (X360)
Kinect Strength Training (X360)
I can't find the SKU for the last 2 games on Brickseek, but if anyone wants here's the first 2:

Brawl - https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=6527131

Asura's Wrath 360 - https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=16503459

Asura's Wrath PS3 (not sure if this is .03 but never hurts to check, none near me) - https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=16503460

Also found some 3 cent games of my own; I looked at this (https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/354427-walmart-ymmv-in-store-clearance-thread-i-read-the-faqs/page-259#entry14140364) and saw that a store near me supposedly had 6 copies of FIFA 12 (PS3). I thought there was no way there would actually be 6 on the shelf, but lo and behold, I show up and there's 6 copies sitting in 1 row of an endcap. My other snags were Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (PS4) for $1 and Just Dance Disney Party 2 (Wii U) for $3, and another undiscovered 3 cent game, Self Defense Training Camp (360/Kinect). Surprisingly, I just looked and it is showing up as $40 at another store near me, but you guys can see if it's 3 cents near you:

Here is the tennis one: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=17375806

A couple friends have an One X. Kinda meh tbh, not many exclusive games for the xbone. One system was dead on arrival and the other is as loud as the tv. I'd wait until next gen at this point.
I had a disc drive issue with the original XBox, and then of course red ring of death on the 360. However, I've had an original XB1, an S, and now an X, and never had an issue... Maybe it had something to do specifically with the production run for the bundle? Eh to each their own I guess. Personally the PS4 exclusives for the most part don't appeal to me (I had one for a while, sold it) and the X1X has the best version of virtually every multiplat game plus enhanced versions of re-released games from last gen for free.

Right now I run an X1X, Switch, and PC combo and I'm swamped with amazing games.

Well isn't that great for you... My fucking region never has any deals like that. All my Walmarts should fucking catch fire!
It would have been if that drop had happened when I was there two days prior to that, yep.

They'd had some pretty good stuff in the $20-30 range a few days before that that got cleaned out when they slashed it all to $5. By the time I noticed the $5, what was left was basically NHL 18 and NBA Live whatever.

Great for me.

Haven't had any luck with Walmart clearance in months, but I was able to find theHunter: Call of the Wild (PC) and Yo-Kai Watch (3DS) for $5.00 each a few days ago. Only other games I remember seeing were DooM 2016 (PC) and We Happy Few (X1), also for $5.00 each.

Honestly Walmart needs to go out of business or employ good people.

Useless assholes would not look up an item on a pda.

Refused.

Said it would be in the floor. Or Austin Texas just has useless pricks at every store

Rest assured...it's not just Austin, Texas.

Walmart employees don't get paid enough to give a shit. That's how Walmart can afford to be Walmart.
THIS....oh yes, THIS. Just look at them and their facial expressions the next time you're there. They look like they'd rather be in Gilead.

Those should be cheaper, just ring them up with the app. They may not show up, if they don't go to the register and it should show them the last registered price. I was trying to look for those on Brickseek but I can't find them.

.03 deals are still alive, just found two copies of Pilotwings at a Walmart I decided to go to on whim (not in my area).

However, one near me did started discounting a lot recently and found some big steals:

- Yoshi & Poochie Wooly World (with Amiibo) for $23
- Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival for $3
- 2 Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer for $3
- Army of Two Devil's Cartel (x360) for $1[attachment=32504:IMG_20190705_184030.jpg]

Found GTA trilogy for PS2 and Forza Horizon 2 for 360 for $5 each.  Not sure where they dug those out, neither have been around for a while.
