Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Some more clearance found tonight besides what others have mentioned:

Starlink Switch/PS4 - $5, $7
Monster Hunter Stories 3DS - $7
My Friend Pedro Switch - $4
Everybody Golf PS4 - $1

Resident Evil 2 PS4 - $5 or $10

There were more but I didn't take pictures. These are just the ones I bought.

Might be a repost, but there's a G305 wireless mouse + mousepad bundle for 19.88 near me.

https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=528988998
I bought one of these at my local store, they had about 10 of these on a shelf. It's basically the retail mousepad package with a mouse stuck inside the box, and a slipcover with a new UPC on the outside. It also includes a Duracell battery and an extender for the receiver.

$20 for a $50 mouse? I'll take it. My trusty M510 is showing its age and I needed a spare for whenever it finally dies.

Also willing to pay a little extra for Octopath if anyone has an extra copy.

I went look at my Walmart this morning and no luck. I saw it two days ago at the store for full price, but it I guess it got snatched up. When I scanned it then, it said the item was "unavailable in store" even though I was holding it in my hand...

Got one myself. Worth the asking price

Damn lucky I wanted one but according to Brickseek there none around me

Thanks for the Octopath tip. My Brickseek said a Walmart about 12 miles away had 2-3 in stock. I figured like going on an adventure, I've always wanted to play this  game.

Saw  two copies on the bottom shelf of a sealed Switch glass case, was able to pick up the two copies, yep, 10  bucks each (before tax).

Just checked Brickseek when I got home, that location  now says out of stock...so they update pretty fast.

Yay!

Store in downey, ca has a bunch of octopaths, but they limit 1 per customer for whatever reason. You'd think they would want to get rid of their clearanced items.

The Walmart in Hammonton NJ had 3 copies of Octopath Traveler at $49.94 in the case, but rang up $10. I only grabbed one copy.

That makes me sad, the store near me had a few copies clearanced out marked $49.94 and I passed. Had they rang up $10 I would have grabbed one, but they are gone now

I went to my Walmart today. The resident evil 2 is $24.96 when he rang it on his Walmart phone

That’s what gets me. If it wasn’t for here, I’d probably have just walked past it not thinking. I went specifically for it today.

It would be awesome finding these Switch titles, but same. The only thing I ever got from Walmart clearance postings was a TV maybe 4 years ago. Struck out every other time.

I combed through various first-party Switch games last night, in light of the Octopath Traveler news. It looks like Octopath, Kirby Star Allies and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze all got the $10 treatment, as close to chain-wide as Walmart is willing to go. Everything else appears to still be YMMV.

Brickseek seems to having major issues, though, which affected my search. Certain games like Splatoon 2, Link's Awakening and both versions of Pokemon Let's Go aren't showing any inventory data on any ZIP code I punch in. I highly doubt those titles are sold out chain-wide, so I recommend checking them in-store if you find a copy.

Do the titles need to have a reduced price tag sticker in order for the discount to be applied? I went to a store and saw a 3ds copy of Dragon quest VII with a $15 tag on it. When the employee scanned the game, she scanned the game barcode first and it pulled up the msrp price. She then scanned the price tag and then charged me only $15 (though she still needed someone to override it at the register).

I don't think kirby and donkey kong are as widespread as octopath though

Was able to snag Hyrule Warriors for $10. Has anyone had any luck seeing inventory on Donkey Kong on Brickseek? I know some of my area Wal-Marts have it in stock, but it's not pulling up there so I can see if it's been discounted or not.

No and Kirby is the same for me even tho I see it in the case. Using the app to scan prices in store has worked pretty well though so far.

As usual another fruitless trip to Walmart trying to get a iPhone XS. Employee never showed up. Picked up a copy of rocket arena for 0.03.
I saw this at a store today marked at $9 yet brickseek shows up as $.03 and out of stock. Kicked myself for not checking the price now that I saw your post. Then I watched a trailer and checked reviews.... it's a kids game I'd never play.
