Went to my local WallyWorld on the first. I wasnt looking for one, just happend to ask and they had some in, this was at like 3 in the afternoon. So I bought a premium. Took it home, set it up, tried to play and it wouldnt read the game. Damn it to hell!! I called to see if they had anymore in stock cause I was gonna go exchange it, nope they didnt. They had just sold their last premium but they had 6 core left, this was around 5pm. Well I call Microsoft, was talking to the guy, he said they would ship me a box and blah blah blah. So I am sitting here still waiting for my box. You know the worst thing is, I could justify spending $437 if there was some kind of instant gratification, but there is not so know I am going over why the heck did I spend the money, I should have just waited till the next launch. Oh my system was made in late October too. So I am one of the 1 in 100 that have a problem with the system. Go figure thats the way my luck goes.
Oh one more thing I thought was kinda funny. While I am talking the this Kid on the phone about the system, yes he was a kid, only 19 fresh out of high school. Yes he gave me his life story. Anyway, back to the story.... He told me that Microsoft still had "tons" of core systems just sitting in the warehouse. Microsoft underestimated the demand for the Core system and that they still had they just sitting there. To me that is funny. Leave it to Microsoft.
