I was thinking that a nice side of Hollandaise sauce would really do this dish justice. Maybe a pinch of garlic salt too.

Hollandaise is tricky to make until you get the knack of it. I think aioli sauce (with or without basil) would be better, as there's no cooking involved.

I'm a hollandaise nutjob but your idea is starting to sound good too. I would have to opt for no basil. I was thinking of some sauteed garlic cloves instead of the garlic salt also.

I dunno, looks kinda tasty, to tell the truth. I mean, with the proper spices, baby makes a wonderful pre-meal soup. What is truly disgusting here is that cliche china. How Japan in the 1940's can you get?
 
AS I was looking at the pictures I immediately tabbed to my Yahoo page as pregnant wife came over my shoulder.. she *insisted* on looking to whatever I was looking.. I said No I dont think you'd want to look at it, she tabbed on it anyway.. she was in the bathroon in no time..
 
WTF, I think it was fake. I read on a news site once that a guy in china showed himself cleaning and cooking a cat and he got in trouble for it in china I do not think that is real and if it is it breaks the utlimate taboo by 2x

why are people making such a big deal about this? If it's fake, who cares. If it's real, then it's better that we know about it, so that hopefully, one day, someone will make it stop.

what language is that stuff in? It looks to be Vietnamese but im not sure. I hate being able to speak Vietnamese and not being able to read or write it. I WANT TO READ IT

I really don't think it matters if it is real or fake, it is still in very poor taste. Would you enjoy a pic that is all over the internet of your mom getting raped? (even though you know its fake it doesn't matter right?) or how about your sister or brother seen getting their head cut off...(no it just doesn't seem right does it?)
